Hey, germination went pretty good. First 24 hours, I put seed into a glass of tap water and the second day, I'm moving the seed to paper towel. Another 24 hours there and that’s it! I only sprouted one seed.
Hey guys, I'm starting to use Terra Aquatica nutrients. seedling looks pretty healthy. I'm growing in Coco-coir so that's why I’m giving the seedling nutrients already.
Second week of the grow. This week I'm gonna add "Fulvic" with the solution, also from Terra aquatica. Plant is growing pretty fast, but It's showing potassium deficiency. I'm gonna try to help it next week.
Third week of the grow. (Growing phase) Adding "seaweed" to the nutrient solution. Potassium deficiency is not showing itself anymore. Starting LST from this week.
Pre-flowering phase, I'm gonna give pre-flowering phase nuts for one week and then start flowering. Stopped LST-ing, because It starting to flower. Last week of using "Seaweed" and "Fulvic" with the solution. I'm seeing Nitrogen deficiency on the lower branches, gonna take care of it.
Flowering phase started! From this week I'm not gonna use "Seaweed" and "Fulvic" with the solution. This plant is showing many deficiencies throughout growing. Growing in a Coco-coir is pretty hard, It needs a lot of attention all the time. No more stressing the plant from the flowering phase.
Doing the exact same things as last week, Flowering goes pretty great, but I don’t like the formation of the buds. It's pretty early to tell, but I've grown many northern lights and I just know that Its gonna grow with the same bud structure.
Same as the last week, but now, I think plant is looking healthies, because I’m not using as many nutrients as previous weeks. I think, I’m gonna harvest this plant in 1 month or so.
4th week of flowering. Trychome production is better, but I don’t really like the buds density. I've grown like 5 Northern lights from different seedbanks and all of them have not the best structure of the buds.
Last week of (Flowering phase). From the next week I’m going to start using ripen to finish up the plant, without any additives. Not really the healthiest plant I’ve grown but it’s not looking really bad.
Starting to get ready for the harvest. I'm starting to use "Ripen" from terra aquatica and I splitted the stem, because plant roots only eat what they need now.
Last week of the grow. Next week I’m gonna harvest the plant. At first, I'm gonna flush the plant, then when it dries, I’m putting ice on the medium and after it dries again, I’m putting the plant in the dark for 48 hours for the better trichome production.
I really don’t like the bud structure of the northern lights in general. Not specifically from Royal queen seeds, just I've never seen a northern light with a really dense buds (GROWN ON LEDS)
About diseases, I think it was my fault because I don’t really enjoy growing in coco, you have to be really god at it to grow in coco and don’t get any disease.
Growing went pretty smoothly besides diseases. I don’t really enjoy growing cannabis in coco-coir, It needs a lot of attention and it’s pretty hard for me.
@spab149, To be honest, I don’t think you'll like this strain. Probably, It's most known strain worldwide and that’s why everyone’s still growing it. I would grow Purple queen for my first grow, easiest to grow and most potent! one of the best strains from ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS.
