After last week's fail and the plant stagnating, putting her into a larger pot and following the wet-dry cycle really did the trick. Plant developed a couple more nodes in a really short time. They were really close together and the plant wasn't that tall. I decided top top it and LST the first branches. This is four days ago and already the plant is pushing out 2 new branches. This should be good.
Grow conditions are improving as well with night temperatures not dropping so low anymore.
I only have a 0.6m² grow space and that small 130W LED makes a difference of 7-9°C day to night.
Everybody's comments really helped the last time!
Feels like the plant hasn't done anything in 2 weeks while this is only day 18 after sprouting from medium.
Leaves always droopy no matter if I give a lot of water or too little.
Leaves feel like paper, but giving more water doesn't change anything.
Stunted or am I impatient?
Yeah buddy cause the plant is drowning! Looks like it rains all day. better water her once more a little than one big watering.
Let her dry out until the soil becomes light and than water the outside of the soil so the plant grow more roots while searching for water :)
Hey, looks like you read alot and diy the most. but one thing you cant read enough to understand how important the right amount of water is!
Thats something comes with expierence :)
Learning by doing
@Foxylove420,thanks for commenting, I definitely need to get the hang of it. Ill let it dry out and then slowly watering each day. Hope I can see a difference in the plant leafs as indication.
Happy Growing, Buddy! 🌱🌱🌱 As for your plants, yeah I agree that they don't look all that happy. What type of medium/nutrients are you using? Also, are you checking the pH of your water?
@love_2_grow, thanks for taking the time to comment! So far no nutrients, just soll and room temp watering. Not checking the ph though as it shouldnt have an influence at this point.
You had some input on my grow, just curious to see where your grow is at since you wanted to comment on mine. Doesn't look very good in my newbie opinion.
@Jarms79, thanks for your visit :) just updated the grow! It's looking really good, topped the plant twice and now some LST. Growing fast and puts out lots of leafs. Still has some time left in the veg phase.
First lower your lights to 60cm from plants and give them 0.3l next few days. Soil must be dry when you put your finger where you have watered. You can start feeding them with half of dosage of whatever you will give them.
What lights are you using?
@Virke, thx for commenting. Plants have really come back to life and are looking good! I'll give them another week then put them in an 11L pot and start feeding them. Exciting times :)
Looks good but what are the lights your using could be they nit strong enough to grow so they slow down I have had loads problems with cheap leds lights never what they say in watts
@Growladyeastmidlands, thanks for your comment, but those are Hortione 360 130W LED lights. They are not cheap and suit this small grow space nicely. It's only 60x80cm and they fill out everything nicely imo. Will keep an eye on it for sure though.
