I started 4x Malawi/Panama Regs by Ace seeds on March 15. These will either be put in 1 gallon pots eventually or thrown in the flowering tent in their solo cups until they show sex. Right now i am short on space in the veg room so they will remain in solo cups for a while. They are around 3 weeks old as of today, all 4 look healthy and are the fastest growing of the 4 strains i have germinated at the same time.
As expected these Malawi x Panama are the most vigorous and fastest growing of the bunch i started mid-march. I believe 1 of the 4 is showing to be a female. These will be transplanted soon once they've shown sex, i'm thinking i should top them because if they're anything like the Golden Tigers i ran they will stretch like crazy.
One plant was culled as it turned out male but it had the best structure, tight node spacing, huge leaves, just a gorgeous plant. If i had any room at all for males i would've flowered it.
Of the remaining three, 2 are female and one hasn't shown yet. The veg tent was becoming overgrown so i gave all the plants a good trim. I was planning on transplanting and flowering these in a month when the flower tent would be empty but i've been battling humidity and heat pretty bad lately. In turn i may just train these over the summer and have big plants to flower once temperatures drop again, avoiding flowering in the peak of summer.
All in all, these are the most vigorous of the lot next to the Bangi Haze, Terp Bomb #2s and White Cherry Wedding Cake F2s
More topping and defoliation going down. Still about a month before they can be flowered out, they will be transplanted to their final pots soon. I'm trying not to let these grow tall as i anticipate a good stretch. Second and third plant have shown to be female and have great structure, tight node spacing and strong stem. They've got my eye.
