Timeline:
4/6/2022 - first day of germination.
4/11/2022 - the white taproot finally sprouted! The seed was planted into a 3 gallon fabric pot filled with Pride Lands potting soil.
4/15/2022 - she has officially sprouted!
She had a strong second week. She’s growing at a decent rate and so far I haven’t seen and noticeable issues. No nutes yet, just a singe small dose of real growers recharge once per week. Soon I plan to start so LST and bend over her main stalk but she isn’t quite ready for that yet.
It was a strong third week for the Black Runtz Cake auto. I gave her her first light feeding on day 20 and continue to give her a weekly dose of Real Growers Recharge.
This next week should be a lot of fun. She seems to really be hitting her stride so I’m expecting a lot of growth during week #4!
This plant has shown some symptoms of nute burn over the last week. Fortunately her newest growth is looking nice and healthy and she’s growing at a good, steady pace.
I have started tucking some of her fan leaves in order to expose her bud sites to as much light as possible. I expect her to start flowering soon so I will begin tying down her branches in the next day or two as well.
As always, thanks for checking out my diary!
In order to combat the nutrient burn symptoms she was showing the last couple of weeks I gave her only plain pH’d water this week. It definitely seems to have helped. Her newest growth looks completely healthy and she’s growing really fast!
She started showing her first signs of flowers five or six days ago and the last few days she’s started to stretch quite a lot. I did not top this plant as I didn’t want to cause her any additional stress while she was battling over fertilization. I have been tucking leaves like crazy, though, and rearranging her branches to form a strong canopy.
Overall she’s coming along nicely. I will likely continue giving her plain water this week and then introduce her to a light dose of bloom nutes next week.
As always thanks for checking out my diary.
I’m so happy with how this one is coming along! She dealt with some nutrient burn issues early on but she has fully recovered and now appears as healthy as can be. Her leaves are a lush green and her flowers are coming in very quickly. She received her first feeding of bloom nutrients this past week. Next feeding I plan to also introduce some p/k booster.
It’s always a relief when one of my autos reaches mid flower without any health issues whatsoever. She is THRIVING! Her smell is really starting to develop and her flowers are already showing considerable frost. This plant has been a pleasure to grow so far and I cannot wait to see the final product!
Another strong week. Her flowers are looking super frosty and her smell is getting more pungent by the day. Some of her lower leaves have begun losing a little color so it appears that I need to up the nutes a bit. I’m going to to raise them by 10%-20% next feeding and see if that does the trick.
She looks like she’s about half way done with flowering. I anticipate her needing about one more month before she’s ready to harvest. Stay tuned!
Everything is going well and her buds are stacking up nicely. This cultivar is showing lots of frost which has me very excited. She definitely still has awhile to go. I’m guessing 2.5-3 more weeks.
Her buds are looking absolutely fantastic but most of her leaves have faded to yellow and many of them are droopy as well. I’m not quite sure why. The fade I understand. That’s normal. But the droop ones has me a little concerned that there’s something else going on here. Fortunately she should only need another 2-3 until she’s finished so I’m just crossing my fingers that no other problems pop up.
This is one of the more potent autoflowers I’ve grown. Smoking a little of it gives you a nice relaxing & euphoric high. Smoking a lot knocked me right out. I slept for 9 hours straight without waking up once after smoking a blunt of this stuff with a friend!
This plant wasn’t a huge yielder but the buds were super dense and frosty. The terps were pungent and rather unique. It reallydoes smell like cherries with a bit of zing just like rhubarb pie. It smells just like the breeder said it would!
The flower produced by this cultivar is of the highest quality. It’s arguably the best flower I’ve ever grown. The buds are dense and sticky and the terps are incredible. It really does smell like strawberry rhubarb pie just like the breeder said it would. It was done in 84 days from seed to harvest.
@Granddaddy_Terp, I def wish I was running some in my garden...looking to get the grand Daddy purp genetics original gdp from Ken Estes soon, I'll have to look into purple caper more their shit or righteous
Nice grow it’ll be interesting to see the finished article I’ve got 3 of these seeds ready to pop,I payed a lot of money for them compared to other breeders and strains . I’ll watch closely 👀
