Threw her in a paper towel and a Tupperware. Set her on my wifi router in my closet and popped the next day. Threw her in soil and she popped up a few days later
Everything seems to be going fine. No nutrients added yet. I water her almost everyday but only use about half of a water bottle each time and wait for her to almost dry up before watering again. I have my light at 50% and about 2' away which seems to be just right. Will probably slowly start increasing intensity and see how she reacts.
Doing great so far. Slowly raised the intensity of the light from 50% to 80% throughout the week. Response seems good so far. Still haven't given any nutrients but I may add a little something this week. I'm using happy frog and ocean forest soil so it should still have plenty in the soil.
Light intensity at 80%. She's starting to suck down water quite a bit. She decided to start pre flowering this week, which seems a bit early? I'm not used to autos so I'm still learning. Thermostat went out in my heater last weekend and my tent got up to 125 degrees. It fried my other plants in there but oddly doesnt seem to have affected this one luckily. I think I'll give a small dose of fertilizer this week and see how she responds
Well I think she's officially entered flower because she went from 6" to 14" in one week and her bud sites are beginning to show. I did increase light inanity to 90% but then the top leaves looked like they were beginning to get some light stress on the tips so backed it off to 80%. I also have not raised the light so I'm sure that's playing a part in it as well. Kind of hoping her stretch is almost over so I don't run out of room, I really only have about another foot of room to raise the light. Started some nutes this week and looms like she reacted good to them. I did half doses of foxfarm big bloom and cal mag. Super excited to watch the changes in the next weeks
Well she's growing like crazy, I'm worried she's going to outgrow my tent if she doesn't stop stretching. Light is at full strength now and only 13" away from top of the plant. Leaves are yellowing at the bottom already which seems too soon to me so I will be bumping up the nutrients to see if that changes at all. If not then I'll just let her do her thing. She looks like she's going to fill in nicely and I'm starting to see some purple hues showing up in the buds. She's definitely fully in flower and should start stacking up.
She finally stopped stretching at the perfect height and started fattening her buds up. I upped the nutrients this week and that has seemed to help with the yellowing and light green leaves. Purple is starting to show and I'm starting to get a sweet smell from her.
Looking good, I think this might be the home stretch...maybe a couple more weeks. She's really starting to fatten up and have a really sweet smell. Oddly my buds went from a dark purple and seem to be greening up. Not sure exactly what has caused this, but I'm thinking it has something to do with a the nutrients I was feeding her. I am now only going to do cal mag probably for about a week and then just water until she's finished.
All good, home stretch. Starting to show some amber trichomes, but not enough. Buds are still developing quickly and lots of white pistils so I think i still have a couple weeks. I stopped giving nutrients and she yellowed up quick and started dropping leaves so last night I gave her on last feeding. The smell is so amazing!
No more nutes for her. She's going to get cut down on Sunday . Shes fattened up quite a bit these last couple weeks, but based on several factors she seems done. Grow went well!
Was a great strain to grow, I would definitely grow again someday. The smell is super strong of berries and sweetness. Can't wait for it to finish drying so I can give it a try. This was a fun first diary!
