i am planning on Lst and using CS to create seeds as a learning experience. also will likely increase light hours to 20 on 4 off once seedling gets 14 days or so.
Also tent is 16"x16"x48"
going to increase the N see how she likes it.
im thinking during the tail end of week 4 ill pick a branch and start the CS treatment, but ill have to wait until the plant tells me she is ready.
on day 21 i can see one tip bounced back from my attempt at topping/fimming, I was hoping for 2 tips. I believe i simply topped a few days too soon, and damaged the other tip.
i was expecting this girl to start stretching across my tent by now, but it seems she may be a stocky/ short pheno. or perhaps just needs another week. Time will tell.
thinking cs treatment needs to start soon but not exactly sure when.
day 27 have just been leaving her alone since day 23.. seemed like she didnt really need anything other than food/water. might lightly defoliate and do some more lst tomorrow. she seems ready,
also been having trouble with tiny gnats in my tent, think they came from the cheap organic coco brick. nothing yellow sticky tape wont cure!
Day 28, decided to defoliate and lst, noticed some pre flower pistols, so i decided to also start Cs treatment today. i picked two branches to spray, hopefully i can find some resources online to guide me on when to stop. I've been running into a lot of conflicting info/bro science.

had to scrap the breeding plan, couldnt keep up with it while i was sick.
I plan on cleaning up some of the unhealthy leaves at bottom tonight of tomorrow and will get back to posting regular updates.
got a popup on my calendar that said day 97 dg. didnt realize it had gone that long but trichs look good. so chop day it is.
will return with harvest weight after it has dried.
Did not smoke but it looked like it would have been decent. looked nice but was kinda mute on terps. altho id heard this was not all that uncommon for the reserva seeds.
i pulled 1.5 Oz off i only jarred it for scale or w/e it been disposed of as it has has cs sprayed on it. ive got plenty of good stuff to not worry about if this is safe or not.
this was initially going to be a breeding project but i got sick for about a month and ruined my window.. i only finished so i could observe the plant and try again later.

This grow will be a learning experience for me as well, if i make any mistakes ill make sure they go up so that you can avoid them :-). I plan on topping soon (only once) and using lst in my small tent. I am also going to use cs on one of the branches to try to learn to make my own seeds, for the challenge.
My last (and first) auto was gelato from fastbuds and it absolutely loved lst, hopefully this girl will as well.
Hey. Can I ask. Y would you strip all the leafs off? Is there a point to it. I've no idea y u would????? As, all the sugars and goodness are draw from sugar leafs and leafs in general and drawn back into the bud where it dries out.. and prolongs the drying time and that alone gives extra terps/taste. Just asking, what's your reasoning behind it?

@gottagrowsometime, i did that right before cutting to dry.. this plant had been sprayed with colloidal silver, and wont be smoked, therefor i was not bothered with a slow dry/cure
and also they had gotten kinda ragged
This is my first grow with Double Grape so maybe this is anecdotal, but I put my ladies under an HPS light at week 3. They got pretty stretchy and are just now filling out at week 9.
@Bygg77, ive only got a cheap china led atm.. had a very small budget to work with, but i do hope to get a small hps just to test the difference. Just as soon as i get some experience, and a budget.
I figured a cheapie 100watt led will be more than enough for the small tent im in.. its about 16 inches by 16 inches,
Looking great! You sure have a plan. I'm planning on making seeds this summer by taking clones and trying Silver thiosulfate. Colloidal Silver did some weird things to my plants, though photoperiods and I made the cs myself not knowing the concentration. I'm trying clones due to warnings about consuming a spayed plants. Though won't know until we try it and alot of things are just hearsay. I can't wait to see how it turns iyt so I can try it too. I just popped a Sour Stomper since my order of seeds was missing Double Grape and it was for a grow challenge. Looks wonderful! Keep it up!
i got hella sick and was unable to do much more than feed them, or sometimes underfeed them. i am currently recovering and feel like i should be able to get back at it.
i had to ditch the breeding plan for now, so i just want to bring this girl to a natural finish.
