June 21: these three regular plants are all looking good. My plan had been to sex clones from these plants and then transplant the females, but I can’t do it that way. Will likely transplant what I think are females and then start force flowering all the photoperiods. That will identify the males and start the flowering phase. Planned to start forcing on July 4.
June 24: supercropped to finish manifold.
July 3: added Power Bloom at recommended 1 tbsp per gallon of soil. Also with a handful of malted barley.
July 6: first male plant found from these regular seeds. Off of a nice looking plant and he’ll be a stud for sure.
July 7: all three plants are males. One last year was also a male so I’m four for four. What are the odds?
50% odds male or female
50x50= 25%
50^3 = 12.5 %
50^4 = 6.25 % chance four plants male
Not as improbable as I thought. Oh well, at least I get a good breeding male that I’m ready to use. Breeders in sauna under 12:12 lights.
Both plants were males from these regular seeds. Chosen stud used to pollinate some females including 11Roses x Purple Mazar 2 which has nice early buds, and the big Gorilla Glue autos in Troop 1.
