Northern_Ent May 12: first foliar and warm enough to be outside all day. Plants seem a bit behind schedule but a few of these were started about 5 days after first batch so not as old as listed day count.
May 14: these Candyland seedlings don’t seem to handle the cool weather very well. Clones from the manifold seem to be progressing

Northern_Ent She’s not digging the cool spring so far. Slow growing under these conditions.

Northern_Ent June 7: these are slightly bigger than the clones which are supposed to grow faster than seed plants once rooted. This will be a good side by side comparison.

Northern_Ent June 27: maybe a bit too much N going on but otherwise seem okay. This strain seems a bit less cold tolerant than some others.
July 3: added Power Bloom and a handful of malted barley as a top dressing.

Northern_Ent July 7: finally some good quick vegetative growth.
Northern_Ent July 26: switched to gypsum as a calcium source. 500 g of gypsum in 1000 L to get 100 mg/L of calcium in solution.
July 28: last night of 12:12 light cycle..
July 31: second round of Power Bloom and malt. Started using soluble wood ash as a K source. See today’s Gorilla Gelato diary entry for details.
Northern_Ent Aug 18: the big Candyland and one of the smaller plants are a nice pheno but this third pheno doesn’t look as nice and is way behind in flowering.
Northern_Ent Sep 5: the one pheno looks pretty awesome with some great light purple colours forming on the buds.

Sep 9: plant 1 has the most beautiful buds and is ready for harvest but the other two phenos aren’t nearly as nice and need more time.
Sep 12: took first round of 204 g wet from favourite pheno which is plant 1.

Northern_Ent Sep 14: took rest of plant 1 in second round 201 g wet and 401 g total. Beautiful buds on plant 1 are likely some of the best I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately I’m not setup to keep a clone going over winter. Oh well.
Northern_Ent Sep 27: second pheno is forming some nice buds but needs more time.
Sep 30: took first round of 345 g wet from the remaining two plants. Total wet of 746 g so far.

Northern_Ent Oct 12: second to last round took 727 g wet for total of 1,473 g wet from three plants so far.
Oct 14: took 233 g wet.
Oct 15: took final round of 100 g for total wet of 1,806 g from three plants.
Three plants one of which was the rare purple pheno that was my favourite. It finished weeks earlier than the other two and the buds were great and probably my favourite ever. Would have loved to clone that one but I’m not setup for that. The other two were also not as nice a pheno as the big manifolded plant (see separate diary for that 668 g monster) but they both came through with a decent amount of nice buds.

Northern_Ent First season trying manifolded photoperiods and it works great for outdoor. It produced nice buds all the way to the bottom and requires almost no maintenance during flowering. Plants were light deprived for three weeks starting in mid-July. Two weeks doesn’t seem to be long enough for that force flowering here because plants tend to re-veg once that is finished rather than continuing to flower. Next year I’ll try three weeks starting a week or 10 days later for the force flowering trying to get them to finish in September.
Candyland is definitely one of my favourites and the best of the strains I tried from Garden of Green.
