Plants shooting up and out, plant #3 in particular. I split the trunk on plant #3 forcing down a branch. This is the second plant I have done that to in consecutive grows. The quadline instructions I am following recommends leaving a good amount of stem when topping to prevent this but I didn't and my exuberance to LST a powerful stem caused this. Plant #2 is darker than #3 but #3 is slightly younger and was always a bit behind so I will watch it. Significant rain throughout the past week probably contributed to explosive growth.

Out of 6 female plants that I have personally seen develop, this is the only one with Red/Purple pistils. To be clear, the first visible pistils were this colour, they didn't emerge white and then change. All the bud sites on this plant display the same colour. Genetics unknown.

I have had this a few times. Its in the genetics of the strain you're growing. There are two parts of the buds that can turn color. One part is the pistils/hairs that stick out. There are several strains where the pistils turn pink or purple.
Sometimes just the pistils/hairs turn pink or purple, while the leaves and buds may still be green. Cheers!
