Dudditzou812 I let them grow too high without raising the light. Burned a few leaves.

Dudditzou812 The girls are definitely in a growth spurt this week. There is one pair of leaves on each of 3 plants that sustained damage from the lights being too close last week. The edges are brown and crispy, and the leaves are curling. The stem and main body of the leaves are still green and supple, so I figure there is still some benefit to leaving them on the plant for now. One GG #4 appears to have some sort of genetic defect. It has several leaves that are malformed - 1 with only four points, one that looks like an ash tree leaf, and one with some yellow spots. I am keeping an eye on her for any cause of these malformed leaves (like bugs or fungus etc). I will add nutes at 25% on the next watering. I water by feel, stick my finger in the dirt, so no real schedule. One GG#4 and one AK47 have the little white hairs on the stems already! They are getting stinky so I'm running the ventilation on low 24/7. I also have a small fan circulating air inside the tent, gently moving leaves on all 5 plants. Dancing plants make for strong stems and roots!

Dudditzou812 The girls all have the white tendrils in the crotches. Little root tips are poking through the fabric pot so I'm going to let them dry out a bit. Two plants are 2" shorter than the other 3. I've trimmed some large fan leaves that were blocking bud branches. I've put in some LST on the larger branches. All is looking good! Yay day 36!

Dudditzou812 Plants are growing several inches daily. Buds are 1-3" long, about 1" diameter currently. Reducing humidity to 40-45% target. They are drinking a lot, 2 fans running continuously plus the exhaust fan result in a lot of evaporation. They smell great, look great.

Dudditzou812 One of the gg#4 is darker green with bigger buds than the other. The ak47's - one is a runt, only 18" tall while the other 2 are 27" and 30" tall. Everyone is happy, they are drinking a lot, twice as much as just one week ago. I soak the soil thoroughly and dump any runoff, and the top of the soil is dry down 1.5" after 24 hrs.

Dudditzou812 I have changed to bloom fertilizer at half strength. Since I fed them, they have grown over an inch each day. The buds are filling in and thickening. Trichomes are present on the sugar leaves. I also raised the shorter plants to the same height as the rest (well mostly). That was a game changer for the runt - she really enjoys being up high. pH of water is running about 6.2 with nutes, tds = 690.

Dudditzou812started grow question 3y ago
On one of my gg#4, the leaves are dark green and appear solid color under the grow light. When I take a picture, the leaves have yellowish spots on them. This plant has had identical care as the other 4. What could cause these spots?

hey there Dudditzou, sometimes that happens because the camera capture wave forms that get mixed up under the spectrum of the LEDs. it's good news though because you just caught the start of a magnesium deficiency and probably a P excess. the P excess is what will cause the yellowing towards the center of the plant and the magnesium deficiency is what will cause the yellowing on the sides of the leafs. Try adding potassium to even out your NPK ratio as well as adding calmag or just reducing your light cycle which is the root cause of these problems. Hope this helps ! 🚀

There doesn't seem to be anything I can see wrong. I would be tempted to lower the PH closer to 6.5 as ph 7.0 is a little high. I know its recommended Ph 6 to 7 but I find above 6.5 locks out some vital nutrient.

Dudditzou812 I'm getting quite a few yellowing leaves with brown spots. they eventually become crispy in the brown areas, and wilt where yellow. I'm thinking cal mag deficiency but for the time being I am not adding any nutes. they are all root bound so I gave them complete drenchings. pH before 6.9/runoff 5.9. tds 500 before/1200 runoff.
