Begin week 2
DAY 8
Transplanted cubes into 4x4x4 block. Added MYKOS to hole at transplant.
DAY 11
This is the lone SS of 2 to make it. She has started to move forward. Things should progress nicely once the 4x4 fills with roots.
Begin Week 3
FRI 4/29 (DAY 16)
Air Temp: 75°
Rh: 54%
VPD(8-12): 12.2
Lux: 12k
Ppm: 600
Ph: 5.7
Up-planted all to:
- 8" Big Momma block
- Pre-treated with 3g Mega, Silica Blast, Hydroguard
- 5.7ph
- Poked holes to load w/MYKOS
4" on 8" blocks with covers to block algae growth
These may be a few days behind, but will catch up quick now that VPD is getting dialed in.
DAY 19
VPD is in proper range. It's amazing how well plants do after just a few days of proper VPD.
I use a VPD Calculator app by Cannafuse.life from the play/app store. It calculates the VPD and shows target ranges based on the stage of growth.
SS - 3"
She's smallest of 3 in the tent, but has good node development and will have 4+ nodes by topping day.
Begin week 4
Topped on Day 21 and autofeed set up. Initial feed is 4 x daily for 1 minute.
She's off to a slow atart, but is on track and growing vigorously now.
DAY 23
She's starting the stretch with the others, putting on an inch a day now since topping.
DAY 28
She has more than doubled in size in the past week...adding 5" since she was topped 7 days ago.
Begin Week 5
DAY 30
She's healthy and doing well and adding an inch of vertical growth per day now. She's branching well and has many nice flowering spots developing.
Begin week 7
DAY 37
She was the runt of the tent and has now caught up to her largest tent-mate and now stands 24" tall. She's not "stretchy" at all. She's full and heavily flowering up the lenght of her branches.
She's healthy and happy and a pwrfect shade of green. No signs of stress anywhere in this tent.
Begin week 8
After looking like a jungle at the end of week 6, the entire garden was severely neglected for about 10 days due to my health issues. These were all showing PK deficiencies, as well as CalMag/magnesium.
All dead and badly damaged leaves were removed, amounting to a severe defoliation for all. All plants are completely covered in buds that are filling the branches.
DAY 50
She is tallest of all, with a decent spacing between budding sites that is filling in nicely. Her canopy isnt much to look at, but the buds are growing beautifully and completely covering every branch.
Begin week 9
DAY 57
Adjusted valves on feed lines to each individual plant. Ran pump for 1 min. with no flow from bottom of any. Set up 3 feeds per day @ 1min each.
Auto watering is getting dialed in.
She is starting to get that sloppy greasy look these get because they finish so dense and resinous. Just brushing the plant gets the sweet-grapey smell on you.
DAY 58
noticable swelling of the buds on this one. She smells sweetly grape. Shes going to go way beyond 65 days due to user errors, but should be dense and resinous.
All had been damaged due to unavoidable circumstances, but are back on track. Another month on all 3 in the tent should be a nice finish.
Begin week 10
DAY 66
The deficiencies are over and new growth is healthy. Buds continue to swell.
She has that sweet grape SS smell.
Estimate that 2 weeks have been added due to earlier problems. Making 80 days the approx target date.
Week 11
DAY 73
She continues to add weight/density every day. There are still many pistils showing as she was stunted early and is likely a bit behind schedule. She will probably go another week.
When bumping against a bud, you get a better sense of the density. The branch wavers for a long time due to the weight up top.
She has a slightly sour grape smell. Not overpowering...just enough to be delicious smelling. When you touch her the sweet smell of grape jolly rancher gets on you.
Looking forward to replenishing this one
Week 12
DAY 79
CHOP
Sour Stomper is so heavy with large dense buds that the branches can't support them and are bent down from the weight. A lot of the buds (even the very dense popcorn) have double buds growing. It looks as if 2 buds merged together or each has 1 large fat foxtail.
Past grows have yielded approx 90g avg. Expecting to meet or surpass this amount.
A lot of strawberry-size nuggets. Buds are very dense and oily. Smells delicious. The bud to leaf ratio...as always...is fantastic, making trimming a pleasure.
Hit a snag mid-grow when i was hospitalized for a week. Plants suffered, and but she bounced back and finished strong. The breeder claims 60-80g. She finished with 84g of dry, hard, sticky grape nuggs.
Oh nice! An old favorite? I am still running her and hope to keep running her a few runs. I look forward to seeing your results! The other post looked great!
@KAPT_SAVE_Da_HOE, My very favorite strain actually. I've grown this one several times and have created some of my own crosses using a reversed Sour Stomper as the pollen donor. It's in one of my diaries on here. Good luck with your grow. She's a treat.
