Begin Week 3
(DAY 16)
Air Temp: 75°
Rh: 54%
VPD(8-12): 12.2
Lux: 12k
Ppm: 600
Ph: 5.7
Up-planted all to:
- 8" Big Momma block
- Pre-treated with 3g Mega, Silica Blast, Hydroguard
- 5.7ph
- Poked holes to load w/MYKOS
4" on 8" blocks with covers to block algae growth
These may be a few days behind, but will catch up quick now that VPD is getting dialed in. Both OBG are larger than SS. Hoping for monsters.
DAY 19
VPD is in proper range. It's amazing how well plants do after just a few days of proper VPD.
I use a VPD Calculator app by Cannafuse.life from the play/app store. It calculates the VPD and shows target ranges based on the stage of growth.
OBG1 - 4.5"
OBG2 - 3.75"
Both will be ready for topping by D21. There appears to be at least 4 modes on each now.
Begin Week 4
Topped on Day 21 and set up auto watering @4xdaily.
Both are doing very well and are bouncing back nicely from a slow start. Previously, this strain yielded 141g dense nugs. Hoping to improve on that x 2.
DAY 23
These are doing well and getting wide. They have started growing vertically 1 inch per day since topping. OBG 1 has 5 node pairs and #2 has split above the 2nd node and is growing multiple tops.
Begin week 7
DAY 37
Both are doing well. Growing vigorously and looking a very healthy and happy green.
OBG1 is 24" tall and covered in drveloping bud sites. She's going to be a stunner.
OBG2 is 18" tall after self-splitting herself at the main stem. She's bushy and doing well. I accidentally broke the main stem in half at a "Y". She's been duct taped (visible in one pic). Hopefully the split part mends itself.
Begin week 8
After looking like a jungle at the end of week 6, the entire garden was severely neglected for about 10 days due to my health issues. These were all showing PK deficiencies, as well as CalMag/magnesium.
All dead and badly damaged leaves were removed, amounting to a severe defoliation for all. All plants are completely covered in buds that are filling the branches.
DAY 50
She is 2nd tallest of all, and just completely covered in buds.
Budding sites that is filling in nicely. Her canopy isnt much to look at, her leaves still show signs of the recent neglect, but the buds are growing beautifully and completely covering every branch.
Begin week 9
DAY 57
Adjusted valves on feed lines to each individual plant. Ran pump for 1 min. with no flow from bottom of any. Set up 3 feeds per day @ 1min each.
Auto watering is getting dialed in.
Pom-poms are getting noticably bigger every day.
OBG1 has more canopy damage but it seems to have been addressed. Regardless of her leaves, she is covered in buds that are large with white hairs and filling in.
OBG2 has more and more green canopy...although not an abundance...just better than her sister. They'll finish nice, just not likely 141g monsters like the last OBG was.
DAY 58
These are covered with nugs but will go longer than the breeder estimate of 72-80 days. All had been damaged due to unavoidable circumstances, but are back on track. Another month on all 3 in the tent should be a nice finish.
Begin week 10
DAY 66
The deficiencies are over and new growth is healthy. Buds continue to swell and fill in on both OBG2 is filling in very well.
Estimate that 2 weeks have been added to these due to earlier problems. Making 95 the target dates.
Week 11
DAY 73
These are continuing to do well since their recovery. Both have a sharply flowery smell.
OBG1 is growing with a more open structure and is comprised of mostly strawberry sized nugs.
OBG2 self-topped at an early stage and is now growing colas on her branches. The space between nodes along a branches are filling in nicely.
Week 12
DAY 79
Both OBG continue to gain weight and thicken. The buds are dense and very hard. They will go another week.
DAY 85
CHOP OBG1
Took her out of the tent for a good pre-harvest defoliation and she had such dense and heavy buds that i chopped her. She may surpass first OBG harvest yield of 140g+. There was a huge wad of roots in the center pocket of the plant elevator. She has been sipping the overflow and got quietly huge in the hard to access rear corner.
OBG 2
She is still mostly green and healthy with a lot of white pistols. She will be allowed to go as long as she can, possibly another week.
DAY 87
CHOP OBG2
Like all the others this run, she collapsed under the massive weight of her terminal buds.
I'm thinking both of these will surpass the breeder estimate of 90-120g...but #1 is definitely a record setter for this strain for me (141).
This smells and tastes so delicious. Top shelf smoke and is one of my top favorites
There were 2 plants. The terpenes are really strong in one and that yielded 140g. The other should have gone another week, but circumstances made her come down early. She yielded 108g but would have out-yielded her sister if i let her finish right.
