Heavier I dedicate this grow to my grandfather who is battling cancer. I chose WonderWoman because at the time I didn't know if he would need some CBD or just THC for the cancer treatments. The reason i went with Nirana was because they were one of the first seed banks i found who took a credit/debit card, shipped discretely to the US, their website was super well done, and they seemed to have experience in the industry.
I will evaluate for myself all the claims that their genetics are "mediocre", i know they are not the newest or hottest seeds, but they looked exciting to me.
3 of the plants are doing well, but one seems to have a burned or diseased cotyledons. Growth is slow.
Day 0 : Seeds arrived, wonderfully shipped and discrete. I placed them in a solution of purified water and powder seaweed from Blue Planet Nutrients. Left them for about 18 hours then i moved them to a set of 2.5 inch netcups and filled it with Nectar for the Gods #4 Soil. from there i placed them in a 5 gallon bucket with a CFL light to both warm the bucket and provide light to any seedlings that pop up. 24/0 light schedule.
I will be naming the plants that way if you would like you may track each plants progress and ill comment as i see fit to help. The photos i take will often include the nametags within view.
The fastest growing girl i named HEADSTART, she had the fastest start and grew over the rest. the other two average looking plants i named SPOONER and FRIDA. The tiny one that seems burnt or diseased is lovingly named RUNT.
in the picture you'll see RUNT on the left, Spooner on the bottom, Frida at the top and Headstart on the right.
I am using a 4x2 feet tent that is 5 feet high. I am using 4 CFL bulbs to veg, and then i am using a custom build of Bridgelux LED strips at 270Watts. I can provide the specifics if asked.

Heavier slow growth and yellowing. I'm sure it's my mixture of nutrients that are off, being my ever first feed. big mistake.
Folks, always go light on the first nutrients. I didn't listen haha
Heavier I started main-lining late this week and wow did they bounce back. I bought a Hanna PH tester to help with nutes. The new growth is more like what one would expect. I seem to have two plants around 3 inches and another two at 6 inches. maybe different phenos.
day temps at 78-82, night temps at as low as 69. This should be ok for a predominantly indica strain of wonder Woman. I hope at least.
I would like help with Mainlining. The stems are very thick, should i try to wait for them to get a few inches above my cut and maybe become more flexible and pliable to bend horizontal and make my second cut, (2 > 4 colas) or try bending now? I'll add photos
Typically the longer you wait the older and more woody and less pliable the stems become. Your plant training looks incredible already, you're doing all the right things and at the right time. I waited a little longer than I should have and ended up snapping some branches under very light pressure. However snapping and healing is a training in itself. After you've done your initial top and tie, you want to let the plant grow well before you equally top all new growth (and repeat if needed) for the amount of colas your aiming to get.
Great job with the training it looks great. Can't wait to see it progress.
Heavier In an attempt to even the growth of the future canopy, I topped the faster growing plants prematurely and I hope this will help the slower growing plants catch up. As you can see the plants named Spooner and Headstart were topped a second time to produce 4 colas. I left Frida and Runt untopped but cut down on some of the vegetation that was burned and cleaned up some bud sites as well.
Overall things look very clean for now, still need more growth before my mainline training is done. I think till be week 6 or 7 once i'm done and can focus on just vegetative growth. II can not wait for the flip and i'm excited to see these girls go through puberty.
I brought up the night temps to 72-71. Maybe this will better for now and ill dip colder once we start flowering.
I also this week, mid week 5 started using Bloom Khaos as a foliar feed.
Heavier So i've had a tough time getting the nutrients right. I found some sources to back up that it is picky with its nutes. This has been my experience, and rather difficult for a first timer but i'm sure its a good learning experience. Not very easy but it atleast makes me panic every week and research deficiencies.
Continued the foliar feed of Bloom Khaos and because ive heard it can increase the hunger of your plants i the full recommend dose, this was a bad idea as i got several deficiencies. I was starting to think it was my nutrients but now i'm not absolutely sure. I will bring the dosages back down a bit . I've heard such good things from growers on bloom khaos, lets see more explosive growth!
Heavier Week 7 : oh what a week, I topped early in the week some of the plants and left the others to grow out a bit more to catch up., Then i came back and did the last plants that needed topping, tried to bend and train some plants and i managed to break a branch. This had me pretty worried, i crudely and hastily taped the branch back on thinking that it was already dead. After a few days i see new growth on the branch and the plant is making a good recovery. It seems ill have less growth on this branch, and wouldn't expect the same final product on this branch as maybe the others will product.
Bending the plant and stretching is very important and helped prevent more branches from breaking.
I have been feeding and feeding, the dosage is just about right now, i noticed this strain likes a little less nitrogen, so i used less high N medusa's magic this week.
Thinking about another batch of seeds for my next grow. I can't decide on Bodhi or Exotic Genetix. Any recommendations would be helpful, Also, what do you folks think of Oni Seeds.
Exotic genetics sound great to me ! And Oni seeds is Unknown to me ! I noticed that you wanna buy from an US breeder : Dark Horse Genetics is good too ! And if you wanna travel a bit , Dr kripling is a good UK breeder with a nice bruce banner strain 😘
Heavier Week 8:
Flushed a bit earlier this week on Monday. I did this because i had persistent nute burn and high N, so just thought the plants would like a reset . Came back to the recommended dosages and we'll see if WW strain would like less nitrogen.
They are putting on great growth now, I think i am almost done with the veg as the desired height for veg is only a few inches away. I had to get an air filter as the smell was too much so we got that corrected and this stabilized temps too.

I think i want a bit more height and growth before going into the flowering stage. I'm worried about the stretch and was told to watch out for it here on this strain. Goal is about 30 inches before the flip, what im told is i can expect a 140% growth. So i should be well within my tent size. . Ive seen some great growth from the plants this last week, i got some burn from not using enough Herculean Harvest (i'm sure thats why) on a few leafs on 2 of the plants, but they seem otherwise pretty healthy but not perfect. I think because i didn't flush often enough in the beginning half of veg, I will flush more often and I am going lighter on the nutrients before switching into flowering so you'll see i used about .75 of the recommended nutes for late veg stage.
I am happy with the mainlining technique so far, its been great for building beatuiful structure on the plant, but i think it cut some of its vigour, possibly due to my inexperience.
This tent is now getting crowded, and boy do i love it. I am so excited for the flowering stage.

Heavier Week 10: I started flowering on 9-4-18. So these pictures were taken at F2, everything is doing well generally speaking. Switched to flowering and started cooling more heavily along with the light schedule change to help boost the flower stage.
Oh i was unable to find hay locally, crazy but i've been busy and i just started to mulch with the defloliated leafs from the plants. I just had them there and why not. It's why you'll see the green on the pots at the bottom of the plants. I noticed it really helped with the water evaporation.
Heavier Week 11: Wow such a busy week i'm sorry i am late on this one. Loads of humidity with all the new growth there is so much more plant transpiring and its has really drove my humidity up. So what i am doing is pruning stems and leafs that i don't think will mature in time and this should also help to limit the humidity i will have once things start to set heavily I want to harvest and not have to fight mold. But this aggressive pruning i think might be limiting my harvest. I might have to invest in a dehumidifier. Pictures will be updated and added later. With all the mulching i've done its really helped lessen my work load as i do not have to water as often.
Not much to write about here. Life has been busy and the plants are just stretching and growing every day. I have raised my lights so often these past few weeks.

Heavier Week 12: Honestly so very busy i am all over the place with how often i update the grow. I did manage to uploaded a video for last week.
This week I want to mention what i probably left out earlier, i have added wood flakes to the mulching I like incorporating mulch as its helped with water evaporation. Running low on some nutrients. But lets see how far this will go , The sample box from Nectar was great, One bud node grew so fast and high up that it was burned by the LEDs so thats truly sad but the rest of the bud sites are being focused over this one bud site, looking to maximize the harvest where i can and i cant slow down the rest of the bud sites for this one. I just bent the branch like a supercrop and that should stop it from growing too much out of control or too high.

Heavier Week 13: So the pictures were taken F22. Everything is going well, im doing the bloom khaos once a week now, The plants are just developing their cylax, lots of trichomes on the leafs, so i'm sure the girls are working hard. Pretty boring no real issues, with more herclean harvest i have got rid of the purple veins. I am waiting for week 6 to defoliate again.
Heavier Week 14 : I rearranged my venting, much more stable temps. I am so sad that i didn't do this earlier. I followed some advice from KIS organics to not worry about my higher humidity, things have been good, no mold or any serious issues yet.
Just keep watering and watching the trichomes grow. The buds are filling up nicely, impressed with the growth and you'll see next week a few branches are just getting so heavy with density of the buds, this week i think the plant didn't focus too much on that.
There was an issue where one of the plants,Frida, was wilting and there was an issue with my venting that allowed the temps to rise to 30 c for a few hours i think. dropped and fixed quickly. Other than that, everything has been easy.
I've been drenching with gro-kashi. I feel like its definatly had some affect but being microbes i can't exactly see that .
Hi @Heavier! Usually the rule for mainlining is to wait for the plant to develop 5 nodes, then top at the 3rd node. Then wait again for 5 nodes, top again at node 3, repeat this step until you got the desired number of colas (4, 8, 16...). Topping too soon would result in a shock and you'll loose some days while topping with at least 2 nodes above will speed up the growth process for the new stems. Hope this helps, keep us up-to-date and happy growing! 👊
@Stick,
Thanks for the explanation on early topping, i think i've already topped too early before i read your comment, but slowing the growth may actually be a good there here to keep them all growing together where i can. I want an even canopy so this MIGHT have worked out for the best. But i will definitely wait next time and appreciate your answer.
@earlsmeds,
honestly worried about mold because of the canopy being so dense. humidity is too high for comfort and can reach as high as 70% after watering.
Thanks for the positivity! Hoping for a good harvest. My yield will go to my grandfather who is battling cancer.
I would recommend increasing your HH by 40% if you are using the BK. If you haven't seen this yet I would recommend giving it a read.https://support.ilovegrowingmarijuana.com/t/nectar-for-the-gods-f-a-q/17885
@BlazedBeast,
Absolutely right, thanks for the post as well. This post helped explain to me why i was having so many deficiencies and i started adding microbes to my feedings. Need more HH to avoid the phosphorous deficiencies as well i imagine.
You should wait a bit : few more inches will be great and you'll still get flexible stems to bend. Let her recover from the last toping before doing it again , few more nodes could be good to : it will let her recover from the stress & thrive a bit. Hope it helped
@DudeGrowsWeed,
Yea man its meming everywhere. Honestly he just puffed it and never inhaled, no coughing and it was mixed with tobacco, But everyone freaked out and two CEOs resigned.
@Heavier, I did see it online after noticing your post. Definitely a weak puff, but I give him credit for trying and doing it publicly. Anyone resigning because of this was probably just waiting for an excuse. It’s the 21st century and weed is here to stay!
