Hello and welcome to u all.. Hope u are all well and having a good day.. 👍😁 Great wek for the 2 Watermelon Zkittles from Discreet Seeds under the Mars Hydro SP6500.. I would usually flip the light to true 12/12hr on 14th day of running hydro but the girl on the right side is a bit smaller than id prefer (goes to show the difference between a fully developed rooted clone and a clone thats only just showing roots in the 4inch rockwool cube).. I trimmed out quite a bit from the inside of the left plant as she was super bushy and i just wanted her to look a bit cleaner and allow a bit more air through her.. When i ran this strain from seed i remember she didn't really have much of a pre-flower stretch, so this is also why i will keep the Sp6500 running on 14hrs for a few more days, reset light time around the weekend and flip to bloom based feeding.. Led is @100% power now both the girls have rooted out into the NFT system top tray.. 👍😁 Huge thanks to u all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. I flipped the light timer to true 12/12 on Sunday(1/5/22) and topped up the res and switched over to bloom base feeds.. Made a few small adjustments over the course of this week.. Ive been trimming out both girls around the bottom and on the lower insides of the plants to allow better air flow and hope to push the energy to her top sets a bit more.. I also turned on the dehumidifier and adjusted the light slightly.. Hello and welcome to u all.. Hope u are all well and having a good day.. 👍😁 Great week for the "Watermelon Zkittles" which was a free choice seed when placing an order on Discreet Seeds.. These 2 clones are in a 40L NFT hydroponics system under the super powerful Mars Hydro SP6500 @ 100%power.. The left side clone has just pretty much taken over the tent🤣.. Both girls have now started to produce trichomes and they have been given a 1st dose of pk boosters(still continuing with flower booster also).. Daily checks on pH, ppm and water levels are now required to get her to really reach her potential.. Very critical stage of the bloom phase as we want to give her plenty of food/water still with added phosphorus, potassium, fresh air with high co2 to cope with her high photosynthesis rates under this ridiculously bright led😎.. Hoping she will start building on her flower sets this week and it looks like she will turn out like a big bush of nuggets with a bit of work and luck.. 🤞😁 Huge thanks to u all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Hello and welcome to u all.. Hope u are all well and having a good day.. 👍😁 Great week for the "Watermelon Zkittles" from Discreet Seeds under the Mars Hydro SP6500 at full power!.. I have been checking the main reservoirs ppm/pH levels daily and the pH has stayed pretty stable but the ppm keeps raising, this is simply because she's drinking alot of water each day and basically just concentrating the ppm up a small amount.. Simply fix by adding pH adjusted water to the res until u reach desired levels.. Ive have also raised the PK this week and will continue to slightly raise up the phosphorus/potassium each week until the last week of flushing(just plain pH'd water).. Both girls are starting to really frost up and hopefully fill out over next few weeks so im very happy with the grow so far and everything is on track.. 👍😁 Huge thanks to u all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. The tent absolutely stinks of freshly cut watermelons and as soon as u open the zip u get a real nice whiff of a plant that doesn't smell like your typical cannabis which would be a good choice if you haven't got great ventilation available.. It could easily be mistaken for 1 of those smelly candles the wife uses🍉😂.. Emptied the res on the 1/6/22 and refilled with GHE's Ripen fir this week then will stRt the flush out on the 8th..👍😁 Huge thanks to u all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Hello and welcome to u all.. Hope u are all well and having a good week.. 👍😁 Great week for the Watermelon Zkittles from Discreet Seeds under the Mars Hydro SP6500.. As mentioned in last update i changed the reservoir to GHE's Ripen at 5ml/L and she has been drinking away at that all week.. Ive still had to give her a 10L topup twice though this week so she's still quite thirsty.. Im going to empty out the res again tomorrow and refill with Canna Flush and let that recirculate for 5days then empty it out and give her plain pH adjusted water for another 5days.. Im trying a double flush method my pal has been telling me about for hydroponics.. Seems like a great idea and its a very nice flavoursome strain to try it on.. Never really used one of these flush liquids so will be interested in the outcome.. The only thing like it I have used is Green Buzz Nutrient's Organic "Clean Fruits" but im sure that is a totally different product as compared to these flushing agents, im unsure of the science to be honest and if anyone knows the technical information about it then please write in the comments below.. 👍😁 Huge thanks to u all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. I gave the girls 5 days of canna flush and another 5days with fresh water (pH adjusted).. Will be harvesting on the 19/6/22 which will complete the 10day double flush..
