It is very hard to do this procedure correctly and successfully, and I would suggest that you stick with "normal" topping/pruning, which is far easier and far more predictable.
Having tried fimming many times with limited success, I would never bother again with this plant mutalation "technique".
I would wait a little bit longer, within a few days they should start exploding with growth, when that starts to happen is when I prefer to fim because it doesn't seem to stress it out as much and they don't slow down after the fim.
