First time growing this strain. I like the progress I've seen in the 1st week. The soil is a blend of Fox Farm Happy Frog and Fox Farm Ocean Forest with the frog at the top and the ocean on the bottom.
I like the progress that I am seeing so far. I've decided to try something out this grow, which is to use the ponytail technique early. How even of a canopy can I achieve before introducing tie-down LST?
Week are starting LST now that we are in week 3. She responded well to the pony tails and I got the first few nodes on a similar plane. Time will tell us what kind of shape she takes in the end.
She is doing great so far on the training. 😀
Very pleased with the overall conifer shape that she has taken on. There has been very low LST at this point. I've only used little clips to put a slight bend in the branches to try and just poke them out enough.
So far there have been zero issues with pests. There have been some issues as it relates to the heat since summer temps are picking up. Overall though I like the shape she has achieved.
I think week 6 was a productive week for growth. We are officially in flower now and have some nice stacking. I like the node density and overall shape she is taking on. There are no major concerns as it relates to her health and status.
She is looking fantastic. We did a final defoliation to remove all interior and potentially obstructing fan leaves. There are 12 tops that are fairly even surrounding the center top, giving us a Baker’s Dozen worth of potential. She has a nice smell that she is starting to put out, kinda of lemony. We are looking forward to this finishing up.
Week 8 is looking like it will be a productive week. Buds are fattening up and her aroma is picking up as well. She is starting to get some orange in her pistils, so we should be looking at around one month left max.
