The plant was put outdoors last week. It has rained 4 out of the last 7 days. The soil has had commercial compost, woodstove ash, and horse manure mixed thoroughly with normal soil over the past 3 years. Sprinkled a little garden granular fertilizer into the soil below the plants roots. Glad I did, as I have not been able to water with nutrients added due to all the rain. Plant looks good, with its buds getting more developed. Using extra strong tomato cages again to help support the plants again this year. Old windows leaning on the tomato cages will protect the little plant from wind for a few days
