So after starting my grow journey a few years ago ive got a decent indoor setup now and spent the last year growing photoperiods and autos gaining experience trying different techniques, feeding times, lighting hours, grow techniques, nutrients and grow medium.
Have 2 Super silver haze autos (2 mall plants at the back) and 1 Gorilla glue auto (at the front) both from msnl. Got 100% germination rate so far using a propagator and heat mat, I started the in a rock wool cude then once they popped and i saw the first set of leaves i planted the cube straight into the coco/pearlite mix
With the 2 silver haze plants ive waited untill theyve got to 6 inches roughly and tied down 1 and my aim with this will be to spread the canopy around the pot and and the 2nd plant ive clipped the 2 biggest leaves closest to the top to expose the growth underneath and ill do this again when it get to 12 inches to give the middle of the plant plenty of light exposure. The aim with this is to get big colas through the middle of the plant without tieing it down and ill keep doing this with the aim to get big growth right through the middle of the plant, thats the theory anyway.
The main thing ive learnt as a new grower is leave the plants alone as much as possible, i found it easy to always be doing something to them and stunting the growth as they where always trying to bounce back from topping then clipping leaves etc.. hindering my end results.
As these silver haze plants come to the end ill either be putting in 2 G13 haze photoperiods or 2 Auto Caramelicious so watch this space...
As always any feedback, tips or advice is appreciated.
