Back for a second year of growing! Still have harvest from last fall with so much that I’ve given away so Just doing 3 plants around with hopes to complete my Gelat.OG properly this time. Excited for a new season of growing to hopefully make bigger and better plants than the past.

1st week down. Giving as much daylight then under lights indoor for about a 18/6 schedule. Just watering with distilled water, have not Ph anything as of yet. With this growth rate I may be transplanting into their 20 gallon pots next week if I don’t do the 5 gallon first. Last year I had no problems either way. Real close to 14hrs of daylight so they’ll be staying outside soon enough.

Good week of growth despite having some rainy days. Moved the plants from their solo cups into their final 20gal grow bags home. Will give that a few days to adjust to the Fox farm ocean and then I plan on starting their nutrients as well as topping later in the week. Last grow I only topped once per plant, let’s see if I’m able to get away with 3 during the veg stage this year.

First water after transplant I gave some nutrients but only the cal-mag. Gave a little nutrient burn at the bottom but nothing major. Second watering I added the Fox farm Grow Big and Big Bloom but only at 1/3 dosage. It seemed fine at that point. I topped all 3 plants for the first time and letting them recover for about 2 weeks before I top again as I plan on doing it 3 times before flowering. Will start my LST training this week and depending on growth, up the dosage to 1/2 the recommended nutrients. Will have a lot of rain in the forecast this week so we’ll see how much hands on I need to be in watering, even though they’re small and I’m giving 1gal of water every other day, the temperature outside causes me to make sure they’re hydrated.

Well I was right about the rain. Didn’t have to water all week as it was rain and clouds almost everyday with “low” temps around 83. They had some decent growth from topping and slight LSD training. Blue Dream seems to be taking off like the Sativa plant it is and the Gelat.OG is not far behind. Blueberry is showing slow growth but that’s same as last year with this strain and usually grows more bushy than anything. On the final day of no rain, Gave some nutrients and up the dosage a little since they didn’t have any. No rain in the upcoming week and back to 88-94 degrees so watering and nutrients will be more frequent so we’ll see the growth and hope to top again next week.

Great week of growing. All plants have been going at a good pace and seem to be taking the heat well. This week I increased the watering because of how hot it’s been. Pretty sure next week they’ll be close to 2gal every other day I hope. I’m also going to start feeding every 2 watering instead of every other because of how often I’ll have to give water. Yesterday I topped them all for a second time at the 2 top branches and the 2 below them. Since they recovered well the first time I’ll definitely get in 3 toppings. Also started some LST on more and more branches. Last years grow was already 5ft and change so hopefully they’re the same this year but bushier.

Plants are doing well. Feeding 1-2 times a well with nutrients and up the amount of water to 2 gallons every other day. Upcoming week we have a few days that are 95 degrees and above, even a few 100 days. Will probably have to at least make sure they get a gallon extra on those days if the rain does not help. They have taken well to the topping and the blue Dream has been a lot bushier than last year from the second topping. Also the only plant that should just a few yellow leaves towards the bottom but nothing major. Other 2 plants are growing steadily and 1 more week I plan to top again, maybe for the last time and just let them grow as tall as needed with some LST training.

What a HOT WEEK. Temps were 95-105 almost everyday expect for a a few short rainy days. Had to up the water intake to 2-3gal every day and keep a close eye on how fast the soiled dried up. Topped all the tall branches of each plant and did some extra LST to the branches. Don’t think I’ll top for 4th time at the moment but that may change. Gelat.OG has been looking great with growth. Blueberry also has been doing fine, not as busy with its indica leaves so it’s easy on maintenance. Blue Dream by far is one I keep an eye on the most. By far the bushiest of the three and had a few days were the soil was Almost bone dried and the plant made it known. Also had a lot more yellow and nutrient burn so I will dial back on it’s dosage and I lowered the ph of the watering to around 6-6.3 cause the run off was giving me 6.7 hopefully that helps out

Wow these guys are getting bushier and bushier. The topping and LST from last week seem to be helping them grow wide, I would guess 3-4ft wide now. Lowered the dosage of nutrients based off some yellowing and burns I was noticing make it’s way to the top of the plants especially Blue Dream. Even lowered the ph to anywhere from 6.1-6.4 now and so far they’ve been ok. The new branches that weren’t topped have already begun to rise above the rest. Don’t think I’ll top a 4 time, but I’ll continue to LST but let the plant get taller now.

Not much growth this week because I was out of town. They only got 1 feeding before I left and I had someone to just water everyday at a good ph level (much better than I had someone do last year). Did some defoliation at the bottom to open up some airflow and get rid of the smaller leaves that would use up energy. Notice my Blue Dream starting to have a few more pistils than usual. I know flowering is not suppose to kick in until the end of this month so I’ll be on close watch for them.

Another good week of growth. Only about 3-4inch in height but they are still bushy and some of the branches from LST have grown more to the top. Only fed twice this week as we’ve had days with heavy rain so no need to water as much. Will get back to feeding the last bit before flower that will prob happen in about 2 weeks. Will be adding some molasses next week to prepare the soil and the switching of nutrients. Definitely saying this “may” be the first week of flowering for the blue Dream because the pistils are in full effect. But I’ll continue to feed like it’s in veg until they all fully switch.

Not much growth this week. Plenty of hot weather with heavy rain days so only fed once last week. Added molasses to my weekly location. Something new I’m doing and all the plants look healthy as usual. Few burnt leaves but I equate the high heat and humidity. Waiting on the first sign of flowering from the other 2 indicas but that should be around the corner. Soon as they do I’m going to defoliate some more and chop off the small branches with barely any bud sites so plant will be better off before fully having buds.

Well this has been a busy week, so much so that the plants all dried up completely a few days ago. Spent 1 day about to water but only got in 1 gallon before heavy rain came, but even that didn’t last long enough. With this hot and humid weather they dried right up the next day. That caused some issue with yellowing from the plants trying to use all the energy they can to stay alive. Luckily for photoperiods and outside they can bounce right back even if it does slow the growth down. I’ll be more careful especially as flowering approaches. Speaking of flowering, the Blue Dream is in full effect of producing buds even this early. I’d say this would found as the first full week of flowering and next time I’ll prob make individual diaries for each plant. I’ll make sure to switch nutrients as well. As for the other 2 indica strains, no flowering as of yet so maybe another week or 2 and they’ll start as well.

Still a very hot week. Everyday being about 93 degrees and up. Still watering everyday about 3gal per plant. This will officially be the first week of flowering starting 07/25 for the indica plants as they started showing their pistil hairs now. I don’t know the exact date but I’d say Blue Dream is about 2 weeks into flowering and I can already see where the bud sights are growing at. All plants got some defoliation/ lollipoping to clear up some room at the bottom and focus some more energy at the top. Blueberry last year was short and bushy but this year it’s my height from the pot on the ground and I’m 6’3 lol. This should be a good harvest in the coming months

Well the girls are still “healthy” despite me seriously under watering and not getting enough nutrients. For the watering I was only doing 3 gallons but everyday in this hot weather wasn’t enough. Up to 4 and still had the same problem. Now I’m at 5 and they seem to not dry out and before I wasn’t getting any runoff but now I finally am. I tested the runoff and still getting a 6.71pH for all of them. I usually go in with 6-6.4pH anyway. For nutrients with the amount of water I was giving even at 3gals, I wasn’t adding more nutrients for the other gallons, just the 1. Gave them a bit more but still not quite enough. I made sure I overwatered just a little bit to make sure there’s no nutrient lockout and begin to feed a lot heavier (I’ll need to buy more smh). I’m assuming Blue Dream is about week 4 of flower with how the buds are forming up while the other 2 are just about week 2.

Plants have been fine. Weather is slowly making its way into the high 80’s during the days so not as hot and some rain is in the forecast everyday, even though it might be heavy the clouds take away some heat. Been playing around with dosages for nutrients for them all as each one has had some signs of a deficiency or pest. Gelat.OG is the only one I saw pest on but is also the most healthiest plant of the trio and has giving me little to no problems. I made some wood ashes and will use that for watering one time and see how that effects them and hopefully some pest. Will try some other homemade remedies to make sure they have a smoother flowering

Weather has changed where it’s high 80’s in the day and mid 60’s at night. Think 4 gallons of water every day is the sweet spot now that it isn’t so hot. Was suppose to have a lot of rain in the forecast but so far it’s only been a few drizzle days here and there so I have to keep watering. Bluedream is definitely miles ahead of the other 2 so now I have to start preparing for harvest and the dry room very soon. Will be putting under a tent soon when there is actual heavy rain to prevent some of the bud rot I got last year. Blueberry looks like it went through a mutation at some point with its leaves structure definitely compare to last year. Still doing fine and the smells being me joy every time. Gelat.OG I thought would have a fruity smell like the others but instead I think it’s like a fuel type smell and it’s actually not bad.

Sigh what a week. Let’s start with Gelat.OG. Well the morning after the last diary we had a big storm come through for a few hours that drenched the plants and even blew Gelat.OG over. It split a few branches as you can see and even had to cut about 2 complete over. Spent about 3hrs trying to tie and put her back up as right as much as I could. Surprisingly with as bad as the splits were she is still flowering on so that’s great news. Blueberry also had some trouble from the storm but didn’t fall over and had 2 branches that also split that I was able to tape back together. Going to have to figure out a way to hold them both up better while there flowering as the buds grow bigger and heavier especially when it rains. Blue Dream had really no damage from the storm, however it did have a small bud rot area that I got rid off. The biggest issue it caterpillars burrowing into the big sites that I found. Had to cut off a few big nugs and kill what I could find. It still has about another 2-3 weeks to go before it’s ready to chop down and the other 2 are about 4 weeks behind that. Lessened learned to definitely do chicken wire fence to help support the branches once they get too heavy come flowering time. Also ran out of nutrients all but the Tiger Bloom. Really don’t want to buy anymore but with the other 2 still having some weeks to go I may have to. Definitely going to be doing a organic compost soil next grow and stay away from liquid nutrients as the cost is adding up.

Well yet another week down. To start with, Blueberry and Gelat.OG are hanging on by strings literally. Every time it rains the branches of course get heavier and branches pretty much snaps. Hopefully I’ve strung them up enough for now because next week it’s rain almost everyday in the forecast. Buds are forming up nice so I expect it to only get heavier. Hope it makes it through the next month of flowering. Blueberry had already formed some weird leaf structure especially during the stretch phase so I’m sure it somehow reveg first before flowering. I am dealing with caterpillars left and right so I’ve spayed them down with BT and will be doing some every week until Harvest as I’ve already had to get rid of some Blue Dream Nugs. Speaking of Blue Dream. A shirt early review since it’s my second time growing it. Forms nice buds bud honestly not frosty with trichomes at all but has a good smell and sizable buds. It’s definitely been the problem child for taking care of for sure. Don’t think I’ll be growing this one again just from the genetics not be as good as the other 2 have shown so far. On the bright side harvest will be next week for blue Dream. Even fighting the caterpillars and even some sights of bud rot, it has one final week as I can tell from magnifying some buds. I hope with the hot heat, high humidity and rainy days coming, I’ll be able to make it since it’s under a tent right now but time will tell.

Didn’t post pics of Blueberry and Gelat.OG because nothing has changed but more yellowing in the leaves. Buds are growing at a decent rate, still think I have maybe 4 weeks left on them. Blue Dream is finally harvested. Prob a few days earlier than I wanted but I was tired of fighting off caterpillars and bud rot on some bigger bud sites. Plus the weather has been getting chillier with tons of rain which only made the humidity worse. Been drying so far for about 4 days at 75degrees and 55-61% humidity. Hoping I can go a full week before they are jared for curing. I did not wet trim and even kept a lot of fan leaves on that weren’t dead already so I’ll have that on my hand once they’re ready to be taken down.
