Damn! Discovered seeds on both plants today (day 52). Have checked and can’t find any pollen sacks, but I guess that’s my beginners eye not seeing them. Should I take out any seeds that I can see forming?
growinglady is not correct plants do produce seeds and buds simultaneously i do limited pollinations on my plants regularly. i harvest pollen, use a painting brush and hit the lower nodes with it to get seeds and tops stay sensimilla. without seed and sticky as fuck.
i later recover the seeds from lower buds and still smoke the rest of those buds and they are also very potent and sticky.
hermie seeds are gonna be hermie is another lie. every seed is a different genotype and every cannabis has the hermie trait in its genetics. some are true hermies throwing balls and pistils once sexually mature, some switch to survival mode when faced with stress. if its a true hermie that is a no go but stress related hermies can happen on any plant so you can grow those seeds out if you dont even see bananas and balls.
check everywhere on the plant if you dont see any bananas or sacks it can be stray pollen from some other place, from outside or something. slim chance but can happen.
either case if you dont see bananas or balls i wouldnt cull it. you may not find male pollen sacks but just what is called bananas. these are whats inside a pollen sack and pollen sacks sometimes stay buried in the buds but these bananas stick out from the ruptured pollen sack. they look like bananas.
