Strawberry Cough on the left. Acapulco Gold on the right.
Watered when dry. Usually taking about 36-48 hours to dry up .75gal. Just keeping it steady and being easy on the water.
Desert and drier climate conditions force flowering species of plants to make trichomes in the wild. They adapt by using trichomes. So i think especially during flowering it’s important to not overwater.
Not too much left to do with these girls except water when dry and check the trichome development. I will apply some cold, drought, and stem stress as the resin approaches maturity.
Smells are stronger everyday. I am getting an overripe tropical fruit aroma mixed with pine and sulphur from the Acapulco Gold. The strawberry cough as just blown me away. I can already tell this will be a favorite of mine. Sliced fresh strawberrys coated heavily with dixie crystals just like momma used to make me in the summertime. There is some sour and tangie notes on the SC but they are far in the background. I hope this description makes those photos smell.
Light bleach or nanners?
Do you think i should cut it early?
Its only on the tops but i cut the light back to ant 60% from 80%. Gunna keep it there until i can tell what to do next.
@JessicaLK, They are oats. I was trying a cover crop of oats and chamomile. I am now paranoid of bugs so I have tried to keep the oats from touching the bottom of the foliage.
@@SanchoPanza,
BRO! I'm jealous you got that AG almost in the jar man. I am going for the long veg. I want to pull a pound+ out of my 2x4x6 tent. Gotta upgrade my light before flower but thats good bc I gotta closet I can veg in with my 180w led im using now. Good luck! Ill be snooping around on all the AG and Strawberry cough journals getting excited for whats forward. Cheers!
Bro, can I ask. Y it gods name would you not use your best light for pre flowering. That ES180 would be better than the 2 viparspecs combined. Just a Question. The ppfd of the ES out does XS2000 by a LOT
@gottagrowsometime, but to answer your question its more valuable to have a veg room than lights shooting at the bottom of a plant. it takes 8-14 weeks to flower a plant depending on the strain. So during that time i can get a 8-10 week veg on two more plants and then transplant a flip them to flower as soon as my current grow ends. Perpetual.
@gottagrowsometime, All good bro. Sorry bro,bi came on strong.
I definitely could have used a joint before typing that message. For like $400 bucks imma double maybe even triple the es180 yield. Which is worth far more than $400 on the first grow the lights touch. The es is far overpriced imo at $420. Its a <200 value. Its okay for autos because they can take 20hours of light but photo periods need more concentrated and consistent coverage.
@TriangleBotanistProject
Ye, sry I was looking up the es300 my bad. Your right 2xs2000 that close would make for a much higher ppfd. Y not add the 180watt to the mix also? Even lay it on the ground and have light going from the bottom or side up? I'm a new grower so Idk and I was asking also. I have 2 p1000 I know they nothing like xs2000 but man the difference in bud vs what I started with my sf1000 is crazy with just a lol extra ppfd. I do find the more natural white light is not great for vegging plants but kick ass for flowering.
Thanks for the schooling.
Happy growing pal.
Any plant stress water with clear 320mg aspirine per 5 liters of water.
With brewing tea im puting molasses in last 15 min. Befor this im using bit of brewing yeast and LAB serum.
Brewing for 24-48 hours.
@TriangleBotanistProject, no worries wish You all best. Some people use aspirine as rooting trigger as well. Other thing Yoh can make something from aloa vera as its support roots far i know. Never used it. Good luck
@OrganicRepresent,
The Bio Tone Starter is starting to take affect clearly on both plants. I am going to help the root zone by brewing a tea and giving these girls a good deep watering with the tea to hopefully get some root stretch and add some more microbes. Ive have never heard of the aspirin trick but I dont think Ill have to got there after this tea. Thanks for the help man
