07/13/22 watered with Recharge
Plant is showing 11 point leaves. Growing extremely well. It is catching up with the critical mass in size.
07/18/22 watered due to lack of rain.
09/14/22 normally I would water with Recharge, but we've had almost 3 inches of rain in 2 days. So I will wait a few days.
09/17/22 mid-week will give Recharge today
Tried some and got a great buzz. However the taste is still green. The plant grew very well with almost no problem. I will definitely grow this one again.
After a couple weeks in curing the taste is coming out somewhat, but the skunk funk is still muted. Still a very good strain.
Very easy to grow plant. I did take a few days early. Between the wind and unexpected frost, this plant took a beating last night. The buds are very big and dense. Will be back for full report.
Wow, 4.8 kg …you’re going to end up with around 2 pounds dried. I’d say I’m gobsmacked but I don’t use that word. No, I’m gobsmacked. Your plant looked special pretty early on and your final buds are awesome. Congrats.
@Northern_Ent, that hashbud sounds wonderful! I'm pretty pleased so far with ganja seeds, at least the skunk 2.0 but I've been hearing good things about other strain they have. Might have to try that Gorilla.
@Hempy_The_Kid, the best Ganja Farmer strain for me has been Gorilla Gelato which is probably the best I’ve found so far. Fast, potent, big yield, handles cool weather…checks all the boxes for sure. Other star is Hash Bud from Quebec Cannabis Seeds which is an amazing plant.
You’re making it look easy. We (can’t) get Recharge in Canada, and it’s not something I’m allowed to use by Health Canada. Sure looks like it works though. Nice job.
@Northern_Ent, hopefully someday you can get it or similar. I do highly recommend it for soil grows. It does work in hydro, but I don't think as well. I've used it in 3 hydro grows and got massive plants. OG Kush, Goldleaf, and critical mass.
@Hempy_The_Kid, my understanding is that the federal regulators don’t allow it, and it’s likely just because it’s a bacterial mix that they can’t fully evaluate. Similar products are available, but I’m working to a shorter list of “approved for cannabis” under my license. Whatever, they’re plants and there’s lots of ways to grow them.
@Northern_Ent, thank you! honestly, this is way easier than indoor growing! I'm suprised you cannot get Recharge.. Probably you could get similar? I just call it a lazy man's tea lol..
@Hempy_The_Kid, yeah that’s getting pretty big. Mine is about 24 inches I think and 2-3 weeks younger than the 11Roses x Super Skunk that is beside it in the field.
@Hempy_The_Kid, cool. I’m at 53N latitude (Edmonton, CA). What latitude are you at? I have to force photoperiods this far North, but I’m going to try just letting this one go without forcing to see if it will work. Likely good vegetative growth with long daylight hours in summer but potentially loose buds due to weaker sun in fall. Stronger sun makes for better buds so October harvests here aren’t that great as flower (but still good for hash).
Still looking very nice. Hey you should check out my 11Roses x Auto Super Skunk diary which is the plant beside the Fast Skunk. There is a side by side photo, and my cross is 21 days older and about twice as big.
@Northern_Ent, for the most part. Our Temps have been horrible. 60-90 daytime Temps with overnights dropping into the lower 40's. With overnights ranging from 40-70, mostly in the 40's.
