This plant grew quite large, but she was practically the last to start (obviously) flowering. She then ripened quicker than almost everything else on the patio, except I harvested one of my Acapulco Golds a couple days earlier. Good thing too because today the heat wave REALLY set in. It's 107 degrees out on my patio right now, and I've put out an umbrella to keep my remaining two plants out of the direct sun as much as possible. This is crazy hot. Fortunately I'm hang drying my plants in my garage now, where I used to hang them in my old grow shed in the backyard... which is probably pushing 120 degrees about now - like 40 degrees warmer than my garage.
I'll be back in a week or two after drying and trimming.
September 14 - This girl rapid-dried in my garage during a passing heat wave where it was over 100 degrees outside for 4 days in a row. The yield was lower than I expected for such a large plant but I blame that on topping the plants once instead of twice which is my norm.
