A week down the pair were very leggy from the start so Iv had to support them to keep them upright they have been going outside from 4 days old Iv been bringing them in on a night first leaves are ther and growing slowly but growing weather hasn’t been hot but it’s getting better well not much has happened I’m going to be repotting them tomorrow for week 1 Iv buffered the soil to 5.8 so I’ll be good to go thanks for looking in
Well the start of week 1 I repotted them last night in to 10L pots Iv gone for bio biz soil with a 30% mix of coir Iv pre buffered it with 1ml per L of canna vega and 1ml P,L of calmag just to get them started I covered them with a bottle to get the humidity up both bottles were misted and over 24 hours I’d say they have grown Iv buried them to 5cm is showing because they were too legyand couldn’t support them selves the buried stem will grow roots so all is good the temp has been around 17c it hasn’t been sunny today but it has been forecast for the rest of the week 🤞🤞🤞 and I’ll leave it here for this week thanks for looking and happy growing
Not a good week I have frayed them both I’d left them in the green house with the lids on and it got to 32c in the green house the little one is the worst the only thing green is the baby leaves the bigger one is well burnt but I’m starting to get new growth so 🤞for that all I can do for the other is hope and pray 🙏🙏🙏🙏Iv left the lids off since so hopefully I won’t cook them again I gave them both a bit of Epsom salts last night to see if it helps but time will tell sorry it’s only a short one thanks again for looking
Well I’m now been thinking Iv had nutrient burn not sun stroke the small one didn’t make it it died a few days ago so I germinated a couple of point noire autos that I got as freebies both are out one faster than the other Iv gone for peat pellets this time Iv not tried them for a long time but back to the the grapefruit I took the larger damaged leaves off they were just crisping up since then Iv got new growth so hopefully all is good I did a flush on her today plain water ph,ed to 5.8 so I’m hoping Iv got rid of any excess nutrients that I’d used previously for the repotting of them I’m hoping for a better week and to see some more growing she’s still small but she’s been out side since week one well thanks again for looking 👍👍👍👍👍
We have had a few cold days were they haven’t looked too happy but they come back to life with a bit of sun all is going good feeding is slow with growing in soil not full coir I’m giving them a light feeding so not to wet them too much they seem to be doing great they are growing a bit slow due to been under the the great British sun or cloud mainly clouds and rain but it’s got to get sunny at some point well that’s it for this week 👍👍👍👍👍
Another week in and we have had a bit of noticeable growth in the foliage the hight is getting bigger too the pots are taking ages to dry out I guess it’s the soil nothing like coir for feeding I’ll do a few feeds for the amount of time it’s taken to do one still not a lot to report so till next week 👍👍👍👍👍
Sorry it’s a bit late had a lot on and no free time well the Ewok is doing really well she has started to flower so Iv upped the ph to 6 I gave her a litre to get started the soil wasn’t very dry so didn’t use much didn’t want to water log her Iv taken a few old leaves off of the bottom and started on the LST which I’ll adjust as needed weather has been good nice and sunny temp between 20c and 35c in the green house Iv had to open it during the day so the temp doesn’t get too hot. I also have a couple of point noire autos in with the Ewok they are on there 3rd week now and doing good I put them in the same pot thinking I’d get rid of the smaller one but decided to let it grow
LST is under way and they are handling it well Iv stared on the lower branches adjusting them twice a day which is keeping them straight Iv put a few steaks in ready for tying down over the next few weeks feeding is going good no problems with deficiencies growing outside is a lot kinder to them takes a bit longer but it’s all good the duo are doing good too starting to keep them to there own sides at the mo Iv started LST on these too they are a couple of weeks behind but doing well the weather has been rubbish around 22 for part of the day I’m hoping for better weather this week 👍👍👍👍👍
It’s been another good week for these Ewok is still having a stretch not got a lot of hight about 5cm over the past week LST is taking shape of how I want it I’m keeping it open around the bottom I gave it a good defoliation last night so I’ll leave it for a bit see if I need to do another the leaves have turned dark green so we’re out of veg the point noire has shot up over the past week over taking the Ewok in hight Iv got a few bits of LST on the larger branches that close to the edge of the pot I’m got to get some more on tonight so I’ll up date the photos again later the second of the point noire isn’t doing as well which i new one would be smaller I’m going to see how they grow for now to see what changes I need to make. Another good week for these sun has been shining a bit too much for these the temp has been up in the 30s most days days Iv had to put them in the garden a few days because it’s been so hot in the green house up at 45c for a couple of days the Ewok is done stretching and is on with the buds it has got some serious frosting going on in such a short time it’s taking a litre a day it’s stayed short only grown to 45cm it’s got quite a few bud sights so at least I’ll get something of her the point noires 2 in 1 pot one is doing really well she is still having a stretch so I’ll see how that goes the other is a lot smaller as you would expect but she is growing Iv not been able to do any LST on it because it’s all just growing up close to the main stem so not quite sure what to do with it yet these two are doing about a litre and half a day so feeding is all good still no deficiencies 🤞 so everything must be in range so I’ll leave it here for another week thanks for looking 👍👍👍👍👍👍
It’s been another good week sun has been shining the temp has been 40 Iv had to leave the green house open to keep it cooler the Ewok is concentrating on the buds now stretch is definitely over only at 45cm tall the buds have got plenty of frosting over them the point noire is stil having a bit of a stretch it bigger than the Ewok by a good 20cm they are both doing good the smaller point noire is starting to get a bit more branches still nothing to tie down yet they are both in a litre a day so feeding is good no deficiencies I did a little defoliation yesterday just to clear the buds I’ll leave the defoliation for now and see how it is in a couple of weeks well that’s it for this week thanks for looking and happy growing 👍👍👍👍👍
Another week done for these everything is going good still the weather has been all over we had a few hot days last week but it’s not been sunny for a few days now the Ewok will be done first it’s a couple of weeks in front it’s sister didn’t make it an died so I put the point noire down to take it’s place it court up to the Ewok and grew bigger it looks to be around the same age Iv started to get a couple of leaves with discolouration on them not sure if it’s burnt or end of flowering il have keep an eye on it I put a few more seeds down the other day 2 are out so far I thought I’d see how far in to the year I could grow outside well that’s it for this week so thanks for looking and happy growing 👍👍👍👍
All is going good with these 2 just feeding them and leaving them to it no change on the buds they are quite dense but not very big I don’t think I have much longer on the Ewok I’m going to start to flush it in a week and leave the point noire down a bit longer the weather has been rubbish no sun for a full week temp has been ok the forecast is better for this week so 🤞and see you next week 👍👍👍👍👍
Well Iv not been paying attention to the girls point noire got a bit of bud rot the humidity has been high and Iv not thought much about it Iv ended up cutting the big buds off and leaving the smaller ones to see if they fill out I usually do 2 harvests and it works out ok there was some nice size buds and quite dense I v got it in the green house drying the sun is shining for the rest of the week so it will dry faster it has a very strong smell and plenty of frosting on it looking forward to testing it already 👍👍👍👍
Well I’d left the smaller buds to carry on to see if they got any bigger and they have started to grow after a few days Iv noticed the leaves are now changing colour naturally no deficiencies so I started to flush them all is good there the bud I cut off dried after a few days in the garden they were a airy bud not very dense I ended up with 75g dry no twigs not too bad for the size and I did only take the larger buds I don’t tend to weigh it wet but I recon there would have been a good 300g the smoke is nice and mellow buzz I will be growing again mainly because Iv got another 10 seeds for next year so I’ll be carrying on with the diary till harvest so happy growing 👍👍👍👍
Well Iv finished the harvest with a grand total of just over 4oz 122g dry I had a bit of bud rot on the first harvest just on 2 buds but I court it in time it’s a nice mellow bud good for all day I will be growing again still got some seeds left but it won’t be till next year just finishing off my last diary so happy growing people 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
