Transplanted to garden 5/26. Dig new bed and soil test had high pH so added sulfur, and low N so added bonemeal. Soil has natural tendency towards high Mag, so will watch close.
Got the DE out for the GC getting munched on. Gave them all a shot of superthrive to help transplant shock. Weather warm and rainy. Planted the tomatoes this week.
Noticed mottling along veins in orange sherbet. Did a second soil test, showed shortage of potassium, so added 0-0-5 kelp. Added a couple tomato cages for support. Will be LST and supercropping this week. Hot and dry.
Weather cooled off for a couple days, enough to do some IPM..orange sherbet looking VERY nice, sturdy, gorgeous, totally recovered and maybe even prunedby the wind no sign of Hermie.
New training method to try, tucking the fan leaves. Not removing, just tucking. 3/4 rain this week, storms tonight possible. Feeding 1/4 grow, 1/4 bloom nutes according to schedule for week 8-9. Looking great, orange sherbet came back and not stunted, looks beautiful. Great bud set and no sign of any leftover trauma from potassium shortage. Gorilla Cookies has a slight stink...skunky earthy humulene stink, very nice👍
Had a heat wave this week 3 days in a row of 104° Fahrenheit or above. Looks like today might finally cool down to maybe a 100. Girls are coming along nicely orange seems to have completely recovered from the potassium deficiency and doing really well, has a nice citrusy smell to her
These little plants were amazing. They resisted freezing temperatures, record highs, hemp borers, and hail. The smell is it's curing is amazing sweet, definitely smells like cookies. Give me the munchies, made my eyes pretty dry but all around slightly euphoric good head high. Its dense, a small bowl lasts about 6 hits and I find i don't even finish it.... It's smooth and calming.
One plant was noticeably fender and shorter than the other. Wet weight was 248g, dry was 148g, and cured final weight was 112g. The second plant was wispier, more sativa esque. Wet weight was 202g, dry was 82g, and cured final weight was 64g.
So averaging 3 ounces per plant, almost no leaf to trim, beautiful bag appeal, and very nice evening high, I'm definitely going to buy this and grow it again.
I think the grow diary is an awesome idea. It help me keep track of everything especially when I have a lot of stuff. Since this is my first year with the autos, I needed the extra "notebook" just in case I misplaced mine lol.
Hey there,
Thanks a bunch for growing our genetics, and sharing this diary with us :)
We hope that it was a nice experience, and that you enjoy the harvest!
Have a good one
