Mat 16th,
Put into water yesterday afternoon, Auto Zamaldelica has a resume I could not refuse. Into a paper-towel and plastic bag around Dinner-time
May 22nd
- plant looks Strong and Straight
-last day Germ week; alls good
May 23rd
- Auto Zamaldelica is officially a Seedling
May 24
- definitely evolving nicely. Will prepare a small root-boost for this evening.
- While the container was damp, I slid the 1 gallon plant out and into a 3 gal pot; its final destination.
- DynoMyco was sprinkled in the new Hole, roots were visible within the 1-gal soil, but not predominant yet
26th
- pictures tonight, solid transition through this transplant; forward with nutes.
27th
- fed a dinner with Nutes, posted above
June 6th
- FIMmed this poor Autoflower last week, in accordance with some new learnings, and it looks like I’m getting some good results. The fim’s are Low and between Day’s 8 to 14 only. I’ll provide the link to the Source: LegacyMarketFarm has demo’d it to spectacular results !!

-pics tonight, they’ve been moved to the small tent
7th
- dinner will be tonight; 750ml with Real Nutes on the Menu.
60% strength and 90% of the buffet
10th
- applied some LST to help hold the Colas apart
11th
- soil remains moist, Nutrient breakfast tomorrow morning; 12th
June 13th
- Day 22; fed 1L yesterday
16th
- fed a full meal; 1L
- extended another section of LST. It can now grow as it wants
17th
- taking some urgent action because of an ailment that had fallen on Californian Snow, that now seems to be affecting Zamaldelica.
After being fed yesterday, Cali Snow had all of her Fan Leaves wilt and dissolve sort of, within 4 hours. She was flushed and it seems a Low pH was the final element to clear from the run-off.
This morning Zamaldelica fan leaves are sporting Orange Spots. I’m throwing 6 gallons of pH’d water (6.5) through the substrate right now thanks… !
- looking to put some of the blame on me, for allowing these plastic pots, with limited holes, to be the final resting place for these gems… should have AT LEAST been into Fabric or Smart Pots DoH. When I picked them up yesterday, that container was physically Hot. Not dry, but man the soil portion was warm.
- glad I flushed, did not see this one coming. Sure, it was a Heat Warning, weather system, but things did not dry-out.
- also moving Zamaldelica into a 5 gal fabric pot. Last soil in the house, kinda worked perfectly. Sorry Californian Snow, maybe too far gone.
Something became acidic in the substrate after the volume of that meal, reached the lower levels, and an accumulation of Nutes/additives. It reacted
- I knocked off any loose soil from the original Pot/rootball and put 60% of the plants core into a DynoMyco laced 6gal bag.
- caption for the video; been one of those days…
June 20th day 29
- holding OFF calling this week FLOWER because of this Hot Soil escapade.
- plant was fed a dilute mix of Root-friendly products; 750ml
- this week will provide the window of whats coming down the pipe
- affected fan leaves removed
** considering it was Not an Option at the start of the Season… I am moving Zamaldelica “Back into the soon to be, 12 hour tent”. With Phot-period Colombian Gold being held-back for an indoor grow, there is no better opportunity than to capture some of that Stable Environment. A few days of 14/10 won’t hurt. Next week the Lighting is officially 12/12; a total bonus
June 21
- this plant has transitioned into the Indoor environment really well. Its pulled through the hot soil and Pistils are growing on the 4 Colas.
- fed last nite, a teaser really of 500ml is all that was left after Colombian Gold Chugged the reservoir…
23rd
- main colas were seperated easily by the scrog and now the plant is evenly laid out. Lowered slightly in height, we’re all good
24th
- brewing a batch of Bloom Tea for tomorrow’s breakfast. She needs a solid meal.
- Soil amending etc etc. here is the switch from Veg to Flower with this strain! Living Soil compost applied, Dried and crumbled fan leaves, Kelp Meal and Bloom Ferts scratched-in ahead of the Meal
- watering to Run-off
June 26th
- first week of Flower
- top-dressed (amended) the soil for this Switch to Flower; Gaia Green Power Bloom Fert/ Azomite/ Kelp Meal/ dried Fan Leaves were all scratched into the top 2” of soil.
- Zamaldelica was fed 2 gallons of Bloom Nutes to ensure Run-off is generated… first run-off pH tested was 5.8… dinner was prepped at 6.5
28th
- Buds are forming everywhere possible.
29th
- rigid floor was removed as its highlights are not needed now, and I can use the space it wasted
- re-scrog’d and lite intensity increased slightly. Maintaining 1.0-1.5c between room temp and canopy temp. 70% rh / 25.5c room, 24c top-leaves
30th
- plants canopy has adjusted very well to the shuffle that has taken place inside the tent. Small moves from here on out.
July 2nd
- last day of week 6, and the 1st week of Flower
- 1 gallon of tea brewing for dinner tonight. Run-off to be collected.
- still gonna lift the Pot. Its been a week since last feed
July 3rd
- tea is brewing for a long awaited dinner. Day 8 since last meal, granted it was a Run-off inducing event.
- growth is even across the plant
- plant fed 1 gallon full spectrum nutes, meal 1 in the cycle: meal / meal / water
- soil amended with 2” of Worm Castings and watered through the new substrate
- Volume of run-off to be measured.
4th
- after waiting a week for the soils moisture level to drop, it did it over-nite, and went from Med moisture to Bottom of the scale Dry, in One evening. Glad I was ready, patience rocks !!
- plant fed 1 gal
- happy to see the Zamaldelica colour has shifted away from Yellow to a healthy Green since coming indoors
- gonna see a jump this week now that it's been fed
July 5th
- there is a pest strip in the soil, and I am still finding lots of White spots or Marks on the leaves of the Zamaldelica. When the leaf is flipped-over there are no insects visible anywhere. Does anybody know what the White Marks are on the leaves; Thanks
July 7th
- main-lite changed in tent. Small lite was running at reduced power. Big Lite is more efficient at Low Power, with higher PAR value. Hope the plant(s) jump !!
9th
- fed 2.5 L meal last night, flower microbes etc.
July 10th
- 1st day of week 3 flower
- fed last nite; 2.5L. meal was Food2. Next meal is from the Water cycle
- removed some of the nuisance leaves from the middle of the plant, exposing developing buds. See pic 3
** reminder that there was an excursion back in week 5 when the soil released a real wave of acid at the roots. I did Re-Transplant Zamaldelica auto. Its probably / easily a couple weeks behind schedule **
July 13th,
- buds are actually gaining some mass and have created a Mind-bending smell. “congo-ish” is all i can muster right now. But its a New smell
15th
- no dinner tonight, need it a bit drier
- No schwazzing for this guy. Low light-power, (10-12%)has not seen Zamaldelica fill the branches with leaves. Reduced output from the light has probably had a bit to do with Not a full canopy developing. I am Happy to see, solid nuggets forming though
16th
- dinner tonight 100%
- last day of week 8
July 17th
20th
- A/C is now up and running, plugged into tent control. When the Lites go out on the 12/12 schedule, an hour later the tent temp drops down to 69f for the next 10 hours. Last hour of Dark, sees the temp climb back to 78f
22nd
- introducing Massive Bloom; removing Root Builder / GPH from regular use.
- Dinner tonight; 3L as close to 1350ppm as possible, also watering to run-off. Big transition for the plant. Goal is to replace any chemistry remaining in the soil, from Veg. Without flushing.
July 24th
- fed to run-off on the 22nd.
28th
- tea brewing for tonights Dinner
30th
- Microbe-tea dumped; Water portion of Feed - Feed - Water is on the menu tonight; 1 gallon
- last-day week 5 Flower
July 31st
- great changes happening to Buds; Girth and Firmness are both seeing some changes.
- fed from the Water portion of the cycle: Feed - Feed - Water
- tremendous smell, odour and even a Stink, is coming from this plant
- real photographs tonight
- temperature is now dropping down to 67f an hour after the Lites go out. Back to 78f, an hour before lites-on
Aug 4th
- soil gets Amended tonight, including Bat Guano, Bloom Fert, Kelp Meal, Azomite and Worm Castings
5th
- lifting the whole plant 3” tonight
Aug 7th

- not feeding tonight; too moist
22nd
- fed full spectrum dinner 2.5L
25th
- checking trichomes tonight; middle of week 9, give or take a few days either way. Details to help pin-down a flush
27th
- last day of week 9. With the main-lites power reduced as much as it has been this grow (~ 20%) I’m hoping it is also extended beyond 9 weeks.
- Flush is going to have to wait. Bottom line is there are still soooo many clear Trichomes, the Calendar is no longer in charge!
Aug 28th
- start of week 10
- week 10 starts with an assurance of extra time needed. Clear Trichomes prove the lower setting on the lites strength % will require a longer flower period to truly Ripen this Lady
29th
- dinner tonight 2.5L for Zamaldelica. NPK nutes only for dinner + CalMagic = 1000ppm
(next meal will be a semi flush with Water; aka feed to run-off)
Sept 1
- snipping a piece to look at under the scope tonight
- Amber trichomes are present but the number of clear ones far outweighs amber. “More time please” (same for Colombian)
Sept 4th
- entering week 11, this journey could be over any moment.
- trichome checks last week showed an Amber precense, but there was still so many clear ones
- I’ll post the trichome pics this aft, and get new ones tonight. We’re close
5th
* she gets flushed this afternoon when I return from Purple Dawn Etc., then 72hrs in the dark. Trichomes have had a shift and its time. (Colombian Gold as well)
7th
- 48 hrs in the dark, one more day and then its portraits and a Harvest. FYI, 62-65 F and a RH% of 55
8th
- had enough, out of the Dark, onto a photo shoot and then Chopped ! 70 hours in the Dark was carried out successfully.
Day 5 she was chopped, week 16
Sept 8th 2022
Grow cycle was extended a bit because of the Power being dialed-down on the Main-Lite; DLI issues… Otherwise it was a treat to Grow. It also helped justify having One photo-period in the tent, alone…
Hanging-tent is running a very low temperature 62-65f and Humidity is targeting RH of 55%. Targeting a minimum of 14 days hanging. See where that goes
16th
- clipped a small bud - 2 grams for the quality assurance program
17th
- all is extremely good with Zero snap in the branch’s
- 62F is avg w/ RH steady 57%
18th
- emptied out her grow bag and indeed the roots were tiny and few. impacted during the grow… as they did not have a solid position throughout the substate. They also got trapped into a dangerous watering pattern with my fumbling through operating the HP ProMix bag. And having to drown it to achieve run-offs. On both the colombian and this auto Zam, big feeds and longer intervals left a lot of room for problems. Thats on me and forging-ahead before completing solving the issue at hand
22nd
- being a very small plant, I did not have to crack many branches to get an idea of where the Auto Zameldelica was in the ripening. And today I cut it into pieces, burning a bit right now as you read… day 14 of hanging
