m0use's Ganja Farmer Seeds - Strawberry Banana Purps Auto
This is the beginning of one of the six Ganja Farmer Seeds (GFS) they sent me for the upcoming contest.
Originally asked for 4 stains and they sent over an additional two. Extra nice of them, @GanjaFarmerSeeds Thanks for hosting this contest! Excited to see what your seed will do.
Germinated by scarification of the seed with an emery board then soaking in water for 12hrs, I added in the step of paper towel for another 12hrs then planted outside with myco in the hole. Watered in with some LABS "Lactic Acid Bacteria Serum [Lactobacillus]" and Transplanter MS-CS RootRescue. They all popped up within a few days after planting outside.
This seed was an extra and did not plan on growing it but my roommate wants to try growing, I am guessing I will still look after the plant mainly but we will see how much of an interest they want to take into this. I will then only document what they do if they tell me and take photo of it all. I showed them my germination method and they preformed all the steps listed above. Also good to note that the soil this one is grown in is a bit more fortified then the others as I originally had this bucket planed out for tomatoes. Will not need to feed these ones for some time. Around 60ml in the entire bucket that's estimated at 11L.
These bucket plants have been doing well. I have 4 others that are in the buckets vs the wooden planters the only main difference is that all the buckets have been amended with acti-sol, the other will also get acti-sol but at a later date and only as a top feed.
She is doing well and the spikes appear to be working great at stopping the birds from eating them. The two Ganja Farmer Seeds in my buckets are quite healthy and robust.
Nothing to report, plants are doing well, just giving them water. They are off to a strong start.
Had a near perfect rainbow the other day and included that in all the diaries. Bring some happiness to the page.
The plant is doing well this week, putting on some height and some pistils, guessing it is time to enter flower for this little one. I have happy with its progress. The two Ganja Farmer seeds in the buckets appear to be doing the best vs all the other ones in the larger planters. Don't care to do any growing techniques with this one. leaving it au naturel.
This plant is kicking ass, in fact all the Ganja Farmer seeds in buckets are doing much better vs their counterparts in planters with other plants. They are growing well and has not had any issues I've seen so far. Maybe a little bit of bugs on the leaves but nothing that's infesting yet or out of the ordinary. nothing is popping out in terms of smells, Its smell is just like a average cannabis plant. Gave all the plants this week some LAB Serum, gotta love them little bacteria. My roommate has watered it once in its entire life time and that's ok. This makes it much easier for my to track its progress.
Added in some dry amendment fertilizer as the greens of the other plants where lacking and looking like they needed some extra feed. 1:1 ratio of the U•CANN 5-4-5 Herb Thrive + U•CANN 2-7-7 Abundant Bloom, should do the plants well till next feeding time.
really like these two plants 40+42, they know what they are doing and love the environment I have put them in. This one feels like the buds are also developing real solid and taking on some basic weed smells. This plant has seemed to put on a bit more vertical growth next week should be on its way to thickening up. Will see how it does in time.
So all the plants have stopped putting on height and are now working on putting on weight. I'm alright with this. Gives me time to start a few others and also have them by end of season. Doubght I'll do any diaries but its an option if I see fit.
This plant that a large group of aphids on one of its lower leaves, It makes me think this is why its much more frostier then its sisters in the plants without aphids. Will be treating them when I have some time, probably tomorrow. soap and water as its in flower, if it was not I would have been spraying some harder things to kill them flat out.
Plants are chilling, added in some bokashi and dry amendments, not expecting much more from this plant, just needs to finish growing and we can be done.
This strain was great in the bucket grow system I was using, got nice and big, bulked up and smelled strong plus looked crystaly. Got all three issues in my garden, Thrips, Spidermites and Aphids, the aphids where more interested in these plants then the other weed growing next to it. Don't know why.
This #42 and #40 plants from Ganja Farmer Seeds where the best out of them all, this is a bias review though as they where not all grown in the same bucket system as these two and thus could not grow to their true potential. The bugs where solid rock hard and crystaly They are true keepers if your wanted a good performing auto for shits and giggle outdoors. The major downside is how easily they got pests and how the pests preferred them over the other weed plants. this is a bit concerning to me and makes me wonder why. More to come.
@GanjaFarmerSeeds, If you like the images or videos I can send you raw files that have not been shrunk and contain no watermarks, if you feel I am in the top 3 of your BDOTY Contest that is :D
@GoldenGromie, stabs the fuckers in the eye if they get to close lol.
In short to keep the birds at bay.
I'm dealing starlings and they have very poor manoeuvrability in close contact situations + they can't hover. So if they can not land on the edge of the planter or in its soil or hover above it, they can't work their way aorund the spikes and pluck out my seedlings. Should they try they will poke themselves and learn not to try that again. They have already ate 4 of my seedlings this year as I was short some spikes. little fuckers.
@gottagrowsometime, When we do our seed exchange I can send some your way. Hopefully this happens before oct so we can do this for our indoors projects in the fall.
@m0use, Yes please. It's meant to be a quick sprouter. That and 1 or 2 of your Mousex CBD would be tops. Ah, the wait is no worries, i wont be doing anymore grows till october anyways. Cheers 🍻.
@Tropicannibis_Todd, same or I didn't notice it, was surprised when I got it. they all doing great. All seed popped 100% as well, too bad the bird ate two of my rainbow candy xl's, hopefully they get in some CBD or CBG stuff that's what I really want to try.
Good Luck in your grow!
@Tropicannibis_Todd, thanks. this one is strawberry banana purps 🍓🍌💜 vs their strawberry cake🍓 🍰.
I like the banana in it, this was one of the extra freebie ones they sent out as well did not originally pick it.
Good luck on the contest. I was just looking at the growers doing outdoor and I count 11 of us doing 33 diaries. Surprisingly, that’s about half of all the diaries registered to Ganja Farmer so far. Of course, one of the growers is Mrs. Larimar so we’re in tough. Also, despite all the diaries we are doing, I don’t see any overlap in the strains.
@Northern_Ent, there will be some overlap. I've seen others doing bubble og gum and rainbow candy XL, plus I know some of the other users who got seeds have some that are the same as mine like Caramel. It will be good to see all the results and get some averages on what these strains are like.
@love_2_grow, Stop spamming disingenuous comments for likes, you lit up every one of new diaries with this same bull shit
"Happy Growing, Buddy! 🌱🌱🌱" fuck off already.
Very nice pal. Keep me 1 of them beans if you can. Am dying even more so now to try it after seeing your good results. Funny why they hit GFS more than the others. (The pests)
