Plan for this run:
1. Run 3 Nana Glue photoperiod seeds by Square One Genetics
2. Propagate indoors and veg for a month
3. Transplant to 3 gallon pots and move outdoors for summer
4. Mainline until 32 tops / Transplant into 7gal pots
5. Move indoors and scrog
6. Flip to flower
Space limitations of 2x4 tent might mean I give away a plant. Germinated three in as a CYA event
2022-05-10
Soaked 3 seeds in water tempd to 23C and pHd to 6.2. Prepared containers with soil 75/25 ProMix Hp with worm castings and 3 TBSP/g of Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4.
2022-05-11
Placed seeds into substrate and placed propagation containers on a heating pad set to 25C.
2022-05-13
Seedlings broke the surface of the containers. Set Mars Hydro SP3000 to 24 inches and 30%
2022-05-17
Seedlings are strong, a bit stretchy but otherwise healthy. Counting day 1 from tomorrow
22-05-29
Transplanted into 3 gallon equivalent air pots with Gaia Green all purpose and power bloom 70/30 ratio respectively. Moved plants outside to reduce electricity bill of running tent/dehu in summer months
22-05-31
Plants are stretching a bit outside. Growth is currently at the beginning of node #4. Cotyledons showing signs of yellowing.
Generic Report:
Regular week, watered when the soil was dry. Moved the plants back inside because I am going on a trip for a few days and also the neighbor kids were messing with them. Friend is coming over to water in my absence.
2022-06-02:
Topped all three girls at the third node. Removed all other growth but kept fan leaves.
Plan update:
Going to make feminized pollen out of one of the plants. Thinking of plant 1 or 2 as they are growing more vigorously. Plant 1 has the slight edge over plant 2 as plant 2 has some yellowing on the younger leaves and plant 1 seems healthy overall albeit a little more stretchy than plant 2
2022-06-08
Going on a trip until Sunday June 12. Watered the plants heavily to give them enough to hold them over
2022-06-11
Returned to home. Discovered the temperatures being in the low-mid 30s. Investigated, my smart thermostat recognized I wasn't home and shifted into eco mode and didn't turn on. Plants look heat stressed mixed with overwatering damage.
2022-06-14
New growth seems to be fine. Will continue to monitor to see their progress. Decided against using these girls for the feminization process with colloidal silver as they went through massive stress
22-06-15 - 22-06-21
Plants have recovered from heat stress issues from my vacation trip.
Massive fungus gnat infestation after bringing in the plants from outside. Reduced watering amount while adding hydrogen peroxide and yellow sticky traps to combat issue. Population is reducing but infestation still occurring. Will order mosquito bits and more yellow sticky traps to reduce amount of gnats.
Planted 3 autoflowers for best friend. Will care for them for a month before giving to him to plant in his backyard
22-06-22 - 22-06-28
Two of three autoflowers germinated. Plan to give away 1 nanaglue photoperiod to friend. Transplanted remaining two into 7 gal pots with Gaia Green All Purpose and Flower Bloom at 50/50 ratio. Currently sitting at 16 node sites per plant. Will top to 32 and weave into trellis for a week before flipping to flower. Will probably flip to flower in week 7 or 8.
Fungus gnat infestation down. Watering with hydrogen peroxide added at 1:5 ratio to control larvae population. Purchased mosquito bits and extra yellow sticky traps in the meantime
22-06-28 - 22-07-05
Fungus gnat population eradicated. Plants are topped with ~32 tops (lost 1 or two on each plant because I trimmed while high). Plants are currently healthy and happy. Will flip to flower next week.
22-07-12 - 22-08-09
Had to leave for two weeks due to father passing away. Second plant died. First plant thriving
22-08-09 - Top dressed with power bloom
@NaturesPace,
Hey man. Didn't see your post before. I grow in promix hp, which is a peat based medium, with worm castings. I do not need to add calmag but I do add BlackStrap molasses every other week.
Never had calmag issues
@odrex, Yea, seen the same -- Absolutely nuts! I'm a couple weeks ahead of you, so will hopefully soon see how these genetics perform in rookie hands 🙌 😁
