I can't tell which leaf that is... a new one? an old one? If it's only one leaf and it doesn't spread, I wouldn't worry too much about it, especially if it's one of the first leaves the plant grew... And no, you haven't started your nutes too early - probably just about right! Don't worry that this plant isn't performing the way others have... each strain is different and even each seed within the same strain can be different. It sounds to me like you are really "reading" your plants and doing a good job of it! I will tell you, though, that I fall into the same trap thinking "oh, these plants are SO tiny, they will never get as big as (fill in the blank)" ... Don't worry - you're doing really well! The plant in above photo is about 7-10days overgrown imo...reason why I think this is the lengthy foxtail on the top that is incheslonger than the main bud...leaving them this long will weaken the smokes THC so that all you really get is a thwack in the head stoning, dry mouth and eyes and sometimes even couch lock although that mostly happens for big bad ass Indicas (Indica- In Da Couch). In short I wouldn't leave it this long, it will stop the plants getting to a stage where they feel they need to produce bananas to complete their life cycle and create seeds. Its a sign of stress or the stress of reaching the end of its natural cycle. Have you got any Macro pics so we can see the Thrichomes? My guess is they are around 80% amber...maybe even more...another sign it has been left too long. I really hope that helps and wish you the stickiest of buds!
