@Hellhazard, tiightt, thanks for the info though, I'm gonna look for into it. And yes. I'm probably gonna try out that 24 hour let it sit thing, Seems to be what most people are doing to get rid of the chlorine.
@WackoMastermind, Yes. I use city tap water that has all kinds of nasty in it. It is 7.8Ph and 200ppm from the tap. I let it sit for 24-48 hours before it is mixed and Ph'd . Many growers use it with success as long as very good nutrients are used. Lots of larger growers will fill a reservoir and bubble it with air pump and air stone from aquarium supply to blow off the chlorine before mixing and also helps ionize the water to hold nutrient and oxygen better. I tired to find the article concerning RO water and nutrient bind but cannot find it now... From what I can recall it has something to do with the conductivity of the water ions. Because RO is empty it grabs up a bunch of the nutrients which will not be available to the plants..... This is from mental recall on an article which did not affect me so I am probably all wrong or possibly the article is wrong too.
@Hellhazard, hmm... yea actually supplement with Cal Mag which is what I've been doing, although I just read the DI part is not good. What water do you use? just tap water and let the chlorine evaporate?
