I ran these genetics summer 21 when I was still learning and absolutely destroyed it with nutes during bloom, everything went we'll until that point. Despite some terrible buds it smoked great, tasted great and was some heavy night night shit. I'm back for revenge with this strain this summer but outdoor in a 7 gallon, I'm teaching my girlfriend how to grow so I figured this is the perfect strain for her to practice as the genetics is absolutely amazing and it finishes literally in under 50 days. Since we're working with less time my expectations is 7-10oz but I'm definitely going to try and get a pound with the short veg time to simply challenge myself.
Swore she stunted and was going to kill it, had to remind myself its in a 1 gallon and not a solo cup prior. Started to bend the tree back to expose the small inside branches, have about 6-8 weeks with this plant before the light schedule changes to 12hrs in about early August. Going to train like I usually do but I don't have any yield expectations for this plant or any of the others outside of the big 3 that's currently running. I simply want to smoke this genetics when its grown properly and not how I did it prior.
Left her outside with the big girls during the high winds and she got some serious windburn, as they say stress builds character and it also adds to terps and thc lol. Defoliated some of the burned leaves not all so more light can get to the side branches
Decided to top her today rather than FIM, the leaves are really healthy and the side branches are all the way out and easy to train now. I do need to add more soil to the pot when I have the chance and continue training.
Good plant she is, grew just as good the first time. Topped her this week and did some leaf tucking, the flip is coming I believe the end of the month some time. I don't have big expectations for this particular plant besides wanting to grow it properly from my first disaster.
Plant is super temperamental just like the first time I grew it. You can never exactly figure out how to water it BC one minute its going well then next you've ever watered it and its 30C all damn day. It took about 3 days for this plant to start acting properly again this week after I allowed it to dry out before watering it again.
Shes clearly in bloom at this point, it appears it started Sunday. She's got a 45 day period so this should go by fast enough. She's a little temperamental where you feed her and she looks over watered, then you don't feed her as much and the leaves will, plant did the same garbage the first time I grew it.
Had high winds and it took it first tumble of the grow, the burning you're seeing in the picture is from it laying on the hot roof for jesus knows how long. I just snipped the burned parts of and kept it pushing, nothing else that can be done and I didn't lose a branch so smiles all around. I have stopped training for the most part, I've learned there is such a thing as overtraining outdoors and it causes you to lose branches.
Plant took a few falls but it didn't burn as terrible like the peanut butter breath, its been flowering pretty fast and its looking much better than how It did this time last summer when I grew it. I would like to pull the branches apart but theyre pretty sturdy so I probably will let it grow as is, had to brace it with 2 buckets so keep her upright from the winds.
She looked way too good to not train her outwards and I'm glad I did. Didn't expect more than 4oz prior to training now I'm hoping for a calm 6-7oz. She really is fast flowering
She's moving very fast hence the fast flowers genes, at this rate she should be done in another 2-3 weeks. Next feedback I'll eliminate big bud etc and add in overdrive for a week and begin flushing depending on what I see under the microscope
Will cut her down at the end of this week, not looking for any amber just want the milky trichomes. Been getting a lot of rain and at this point I'm not going to risk mold and bud rot
Stinks of lavender and berries, at the time I'm writing this the buds have been drying for about 3 days now. Will smoke a sample after the initial dry and then about the 3rd week in October after a 3 week cure or so.
These isn't anything negative I can possibly say about the buds or the genetics, this was a revenge grow and I do believe I did well. On the tree it smells like lavender and blueberries, cut down the buds smell like lavender and blueberries, when smoked it smells like lavender and blueberries on the inhale and exhale. Its VERY narcotic and will send you night night when consumed so I wouldn't recommend this for daytime as it doesn't go well with productivity. Top notch shit if you're considering growing it and its a very good yielder.
Got some huge heavy colas totaling 10.21oz, very happy with the overall yield from a 5 gallon with such a short veg time before it flipped. Outdoor is really the way to go if you want to be cost effective and get more than you would indoor. As I said before this was a revenge grow since the first time I grew it through plant looked very bad due to nute burn and yielded 1.3oz smh but ive redeemed myself
This is a fave strain that I sometimes see in the stores here. I grew some of these Delicious Seeds EVs last year and thought they were great. Good luck.
@GuerillaGorilla, you won't be disappointed. I grew it last year for the first time and absolutely destroyed it with nutes BUT the lavender flavor was still very present. IT IS SUPER NARCOTIC, not something you smoke if you plan on doing shit. This is something you roll up or put in a fresh bowl, throw on some flannel pajamas with a fleece blanket and be lazy
Woowwy
Thats an outdoor whopper
This is how you want those babies looking early sept💪
Nice flower to leaf ratio, will be a joy trimming that...i'd start flushing
@GuerillaGorilla, this is what fast flowering should look like. The first time i grew this strain i was very new to the game and burned her down bad, this time I won lol. I started flushing by default as well got 2 days of rain, today I didn't feed but tomorrow it'll get straight water for the next 2 weeks or so before the chop
