Germination

Hazeykushhash First week and all seeds germinated except one green crack auto.
Successful germination,
2 x Easy Bud
2 x Green Crack Auto
1 x Royal Dwarf
1 x Quick One
This is one of my first grows and unfortunately it's on a windowsill. I chose the strains that might have most success with easy growing genetics (all autos ofcourse).
If anyone has any tips how to get the most out of a windowsill grow it would be much appreciated.
Should I start with some veg nutrients now? They're about 1 week old.

Hazeykushhash Still early days but Royal Dwarf is doing best out of all. Bit of a struggle for sun and a lot of stretching going on. Plenty of rainy days recently but when the sun gets going she drinks it up and looks great.
Will be starting with veg nutrients next week. Hoping it makes the difference 🤞

Hazeykushhash Week two done and so far so good. Royal Dwarf by far doing the best and growing biggest even though it's supposed to be a Dwarf plant. Other strains coming along nicely albeit on a windowsill.
Fed them once with Plagron Alga grow and they've responded well.
A few too many flies on the soil and hovering around the plants. Thinking they're gnat flies after a bitta googling. I've basil and mint plants on the same windowsill but flies don't seem interested in them. Possibly due to too much watering so I'm going to let them fully dry out before watering again.
Any tips or advice would be much appreciated.

Hazeykushhash After leaving them for a week I came back to see they had thrived. Tanlin drops for fungus gnats and yellow sticky pads seemed to work a bit. Hopefully next water of tanlin will help.
Started LST mainly due to limited windowsill space and to stay somewhat incognito for the neighbours. And hopefully bigger yields.

Hazeykushhash Tried some low stress training and ended up breaking the Royal dwarf stem. It's OK with some tape though. Not sure if I done the LST right? Probably should have done it a bit sooner I think. Not sure if it will have an impact on yield.
On a plus note flowering started on easy bud and quick one. Fed them with a small bit of alga bloom. Still just alga grow for the two non flowering strains

Hazeykushhash First week of proper flowering. All strains starting to sprout some nice pistols and early buds. Smell has gotten stronger in the last week so I'll probably be investing in some odour neutraliser. They've nearly doubled water consumption in the last week.
Gonna do a little bit more LST to restrict height. Not a lot of room on windowsill and the taller they are the more obvious they are down below on the ground.
Not sure if I should do a bit defoliation to help more sun get to bud sites?

Hazeykushhash Coming along nicely. Maybe too nicely and too big for the windowsill.
Anybody have any idea how they might manage if I move a couple of plants to a 100w led instead of the natural light through the window? Would it stress the plants too much or would it work out OK? They will receive more light under the bulb than the window but I'm thinking it will shock them?

Hazeykushhash All strains are proving to be fairly healthy and resilient. Excellent genetics, given the fact they're only getting about 8 hours of sun per day on a windowsill.
Smell is getting stronger. Harvest can't come quick enough.
Will invest in plagrons green sensation this week in the hope for fatter smellier buds 🤞

Hazeykushhash Another week done and more successful bud growth.
Quick one will most likely be ready first hence the name. Buds are very smelly and very sticky. Won't be the biggest yield however.
Easy bud so far looks like biggest yields but I reckon Royal dwarf will be very close as it flowered later and is overall a bigger plant.
I'm looking most forward to the smoke from green crack and hoping it's yields are up there with easy bud and the dwarf.
Small bit of defoliating done and all plants fed some green sensation from Plagron.

Hazeykushhash Weather has been good this week and helped the plants a lot.
Quick one is looking very close to harvest.
Easy bud should be next
Royal dwarf and grown crack could be a few weeks away yet.

Hazeykushhash Flushing quick one and easy bud and playing the trichome waiting game.
Royal dwarf and Green crack still on the nutes for now. Still a few white pistols
The nicest looking bus put of the lot. More density than the rest. Nice smell. Hard to put a finger on it but kind of piney and earthy I thought. Very mellow buzz and stronger than I was expecting. Could anytime of the day strain.
