Scrog was added a few days ago (May.30) she's continuing to grow and I continue to tuck her back under the screen filling any rmpty arra as much as possible. Dry organic will be added around next week. Using Terra coco which has nutrients already in the coco. Another week or two to fill out the scrog and will be flipping to flower.

This is the final veg week. Today is the first day of flower. Beginning of the last veg week I did a top dressing and sprayed a foliage spray of chitosal at 1.25ml per Liter. 3 days before the flip to flower I cleaned up the legs and did some defoliating of the canopy, 3 days should be enough time to let her bounce back and not be super stressed out with everything happening at once. From my last grow not documented I learned getting all bud sites in the scrog is important for balance and stability a second scrog will be install this week or next for stability when weight starts getting packed on, I had many fall over last grow. Every run I am always learning something new for the next time.

No nutrients added this week as it's added about every 3 weeks since it is slow release dry amendments. I did end up making a tea with worm casting, seaweed extract, alfalfa, rock dust, and molasses a rough estimate of the solutioni made is listed in nutrients. With the first week of flower done it is showing signs already of flowering and is starting to fill out quite nicely. This is the first time I have done a tea so the differences will be interesting. Also did a small defoliation again as some bud sites were blocked and leafs turning brown which I assume are from lack of light under the canopy. With her in flower am now watering about half a gallon per plant waiting 30min and watering another half gallon.

No dry amendments this week. But I will be watering today with another dose of chitosal (1.25ml/L) applied in water this time. Smell is starting to pick up. It starting to come off as your typical weedy vegetation smell not flavorful aromas. Seems that everyday I am defoliating trying to stay on top of the leafs that are covering or over crowding the bud sites. The colors of the leaves are amazing the new growth is very bright. After two weeks of flower she has stretched up about a foot or so nothing outstanding. Definitely a lot shorter than a previous grow I didn't record. But again learning from all mistakes by flipping to flower sooner because they will stretch in size abit in the first two weeks.

Chitosal was added during the first day of watering (2.5ml/L) frost is starting which surprised me never seen it this early on my other grows. Had to add a second scrog for stability later in the flower but also had many more smaller bud sites being blocked by the main stocks to I split them up a bit. Figure I would help air flow and open up more bud sites.

No nutrients this weeks. I did end up adding adding approximately 2tbsp of black strape molasses in 3 gallons of water. Very light defoliation over the course of the week but leafs blocking or laying directly on a bud site. And the little growth I have found on the very lower portion of the plants that would make super small popcorn bud. The smell has started I am super excited about this part. I am starting to pick up a earthy, spicy, lemon tone. I am just shy of the half way mark flower is around 8 to 9 weeks and I am already getting some good smells. I can't wait to see what the smell is gonna be like when she is fully plump and just waiting for the trichomes.

No nutrients this week. Smells like lemons a lot super nice smell. Having some gnat issues nearing the end of this week about 2 days ago. I sprayed the lower canopy with plant friendly spray nothing on top. A lot of sticky traps layer out and also added sand to the top from what I have read sand prevent gnats from laying larva and hopefully with dry out the top a bit quicker also killing anything on the top layers. Super worried about the plant with only 3 to 4 weeks left I very nervous about these gnats. No signs of stress of anything yet either.

No nutrients this week. I thought I had 10 gallon pots they were unmarked and found out the plants have now been over fed and have nutrient burn. Only the few plants have been having issues with the nutrient burn as you can see in the canopy pic far back left side but no other plants have been affected. Rookie mistake but now I know and the nutrients are probably good till harvest about 2 to 3 weeks out. Still have that super strong lemon smell. They still have some squish to them so they aren't dried out. Buds seem to still be getting more swollen and some nice chunks down the stalks.

No nutrients. Nutrient burn is still in effect not terrible. Still looks good on close ups. The smell is starting to seem more like a five alive citrus smell with extra lemon. Hairs are starting to curl more now.

No nutes. She had a lot of issues I never had before. Had gnats got ride of them. Had spider mites on my last week caught it super early and only had to cut a few tops down but not the huge ones. This is the last week I have. In the next few days she will be getting chopped down, washed and hung. Next update will be in 14 or so days when she gets dry trimmed and gets put on the scale.

Loved the grow she was growing strong and fast l. Sucks I had gnats killed them all off then spider mites at the end with a week left. Luckily caught them super early. I would have loved to see the end result if I waited that extra few days but didn't want the plants to get over run.

I do not weigh wet. I only weigh the final out come after drying and trimming.I have no idea how it smokes yet as it's drying. I grow for friends and family only I do this all for fun. I enjoy the challenge and helping people it's a win win. This has ZERO value. Meaning I DO NOT sell it I gift it all away or save some for when company comes over.

Happy Growing, Buddy! 🌱🌱🌱

Hey there friend. Congratulations on getting into growing cannabis! I think you are gonna really like it here at growdiaries. looking at your diary, Would you be alright with me offering some pointers? So cannabis plants LOVE heat and humidity. It is the buds that hate it. In veg we want to take advantage of this fact to help our plants grow along much quicker and more vigorously. In veg we can look for temps of 79-84 MAX with lights on & no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. If we allow for too much temperature swing between lights on and lights off while the plant is still growing vertically up to day 20 of flower, We will cause the plant to stretch ALOT which we do not want. So in veg & early flower, Keeping our temperature gaps nice and close between lights on and off is key. Utilizing humidity in our rooms during veg will also help out a lot with more rapid growth but we must introduce it properly. In our rooms we have our temperature and humidity set-points, But when we combine those 2 it forms a third set-point which is the most important & that is called VPD, Vapor pressure deficit. I strongly recommend every new grower or old grower who has not learned it yet, To study and understand it & implement it into your room, Logging your numbers daily. https://cerescann.com/importance-of-measuring-vpd/ For soil, We generally want to go for a PH of 6.1. 7 is getting up there out of the sweet spot This website does a GREAT job of illustrating it with a nice graph & very good detailed explanation for soil. https://autoflowerseedshop.com/cannabis-ph-chart-guide/ As we briefly touched on before, During veg & early flower we want our temperature gap's nice and tight to avoid stretch. Why exactly our plants stretch in response to this is a genetic trigger being activated by the environmental stress essentially telling the plant the end of the season is closer than it really is. In veg & early flower the plant is still in its first stage of development which is to grow up wide and tall so when it produces seed, It can cast them out nicely. Remember, Whether we are growing our plants for seed or bud their genetic responses do not change as they gh sidedo not know any different. Once the plant has finished that first stage of growth by weeks 4-6 of flower with most strains, It is by day 20 of flower. Autoflowers you have to watch for it, But once the plant has finished this goal its new mission is to focus 100% on producing nice big flower clusters & to get very sticky so it can attract pollen to it successfully. So once that vertical growth is finished, We actually now want to begin to expose our plants to larger temperature swings between lights on and lights off. This will help activate that genetic response and allow us to draw out the most potential from the strain utilizing the plants genetic triggers to environmental stresses at the right times. We can also take this a step further with doing light deprivation in the last 2 weeks using less light to simulate cloud cover. Very cold feed temps on the last flush is very good too. If you do not have them already, Get yourself a good PAR meter & thermal laser temp gun to monitor your plant top temperatures & optimize how much light your plants are getting. We are currently in the middle of producing a very comprehensive tutorial series for everybody to learn from & understand how to grow the highest level craft cannabis all on their own. If this interests you please check out our youtube and subscribe. The first 2 episodes are out the next one is coming in a few days. If you should ever have any questions or need any help, Please feel free to follow my profile and shoot me a DM. I will gladly help you with the pull down & make sure you get the best quality harvest possible as it is the most important step of the entire process. Happy growing friend!

@LegacyMarketFarm, I have found that it's a little harder to keep temps up in the summer time for me, my ac is strong on my main floor even covered the vent and not 100% comfortable with a heater in my tent directly.
