58 Days have passed in flower.
Cheese left, Gorilla Girl right.
The "Just water no pH" experiment has failed me around week 5 of flower.
I have not done anything to keep the soil biology alive so thats probably the issue.
Its all good though, it was fun while it lasted and definitely worth a try.
I have let the soil dry as much as possible and then i watered in a tablespoon molasses per gallon water.
pH'd to 6.6.
I just need atleast 3-7 more days of flower and hopefuly the buds will mature a little more.
I took a snip of the bottom leafs to check for trichomes maturity, those are the weakest of trichomes on the plants.
---1st time growing with FLO - Florian Living Organics.---
They claim that there is no need to pH when watering and that their living fertilizer is the only thing that i will need throughout the whole grow so i only need to mix with soil and just water with plain water.
If this stuff works then it can simplify my future grows ALOT!
Happy growing. ๐
@Eauderay, You too now? what the fuck is this website full of experts with no context. I never asked for advice and it was never my intention to get schooled by a bunch of nobodies on the internet. Fuck off you.
Looking good ๐ VPD does make a difference but I don't have the ability to keep mine where they recommend but I do try to keep it the best I can. I use some clone ex when I pop my seeds it seems to give em a good boost, it is not organic so I don't put it in my soil just the rooters in the beginning. I mentioned this just because I ph the clone ex but once I put the seedlings in the soil I use filtered tap water and don't ph anymore
@Earthling37, I don't know if molasses is good for cloning, I don't clone so I really don't know to much about it. I want to try doing some but I just don't have any room to do anything in my growroom, I am building a bigger room but it's going to take a while
Looks like they are off to a great start and ready to take off ๐ ๐ค๐ฑ
I grow in a similar product making the soil living it's a great way to grow it's definitely nice to just water and watch them grow. Come by and visit all my diaries are plants grown in Earth Dust nutrients, living soil ... maybe we can help each other be better farmers ๐
@Cyrusdavirus, They are currently in 2 liters. Do you see what they are standing on? the white 9 liters. also i have bigger than that. ๐
Im also very impressed with everything so far ๐
@Earthling37, maybe he is with me. You should be more responsible and respectful with energy in times like that. :)
Just put those little light down, trust me.
Mate, plants look amazing - dosing 11 different fertilizers and measuring run off ppm for each plant gets really tedious over time, something I could do without for sure. I can't find for the life of me how much of Florian LS do you use per 10L of substrate? They have 5L and 25L bags and no idea which one to get.
@Ankh1337, I just follow the instructions on the back, i have had success with the germination/seedling stage = 200 ml per 10 liter substrate, growing phase = 500 ml per 10 liter substrate.
I have yet to test out the flower stage but it says 2000 ml per 10 liter substrate.
Happy growing :)
@Psilocubensis, i know but at first im just experimenting with how well the fertilizer is doing on its own, later on i may add something like molasses or better water quality through filtering and aerating the water in order to get rid of all the chlorine..
They are doing great so far though but i always make room for improvement.
I like the saying "less is more".
First...your plants have looked super healthy their whole life. So far ill be looking into your medium setup. Would love to only add water.Second...people suck. Keep doing you ๐ค
@BigbudzMagee, Words cannot describe how easy it has been for me to grow with organic living soil.
I maybe water 1-2 times a week and the only hard work is really the LST and the transplants.
Cheers buddy, happy growing. ๐
@Grow_for_Happiness, I have yet to use the top dressing method because the plants just fill out the pot with roots before they need more nutrients, so i just transplant instead.
SUPER easy indeed.
