STAGE 1 I started out with the paper towel method from seed. So basically I got 2 food Plates and 2 nice sheets of kitchen towel/paper. I then wet both pieces of paper towel and rinse them untill no more water is dripping. I then place 1 sheet on one of the plates and place 3 seeds nicely spaced in the centre, I then cover the seed with the 2nd paper towel sightly pressing around the seeds to make sure the moisture will soften the seeds shell. I then plate the other plate over the top like a UFO haha.. and placed this in a nice dark room in the house. These where left fir almost 48hours before all started to show signs of roots. STAGE 2 day 3 Now my seedings are ready for their first rooting home. My choice for this was the jiffy 7c pellets as they offer nutrition to the seed and is a great wat to start off. I got 1l of water and left it for couple hours to release some of the bads, I then added the following Shogun Start 4ml and Shogun Katana Roots 5ml I give this a good stir and my pH was reading around 6.5 so I was happy. I then soaked all 3 of my jiggy plugs in the water with the nutrition till they got to size, around 10 minutes. I then got them out and give them a nice sqeeze untill they didn't drip water anymore, once done placed on my tray before adding the seedlings. I made a small hole in the centre of all 3 jiffys and place the seeds in each 1 then gently brush some of the soil over the hole giving room for light and oxygen to still reach the seed. STAGE 3 day 4 I now keep an eye on the growth using a small syringe to food the mixed nutrition keeping the soil moist and not dry, within 24hour they had started ro sprout so I'm pretty much not far from potting them in their forever homes now and carrying on with the veggie stages.
