Northern_Ent June 2: planting out quickly after germination because the weather is very nice for the next couple weeks and it’s time to get a bunch of seedlings going. Even when seedling is very small, and only a few days old the tap root reaches the bottom of the peat pot. June 3: ants have eaten the baby leaves and killed a bunch of new seedlings. Fuck sakes. I didn’t know that was a thing. Lost a day but there are more seeds… June 7: two seedlings per 5 gallon growbag, or three in bigger pots.

Northern_Ent July 3: tie down is going well. July 6: broke off a couple of stems doing tie down. Learning limits of flexibility and how often the tie downs need to be adjusted. Daily or every second day seems the best. Also won’t be using so much potassium silicate at this vegetative stage so that the stems are more flexible. Will use it again later.
