Excited to enter my first contest. Will be growing these organically in 7 gallon pots with Gaia Green and NPK industries additives. I like the gorilla cookies strain although i have never grown Ganja Farmers strains before.
Was only able to germinate 1 of the 3 seeds properly. Normally I can achieve almost 100 percent germination rate but 1 did get one good seedling. I do have another one popped as well but it doesn't look great but I will let it keep going and see if it improved with the next set of leaves. I've included some pics.

Theres not a whole lotta excitement happening yet with this grow. I had 3 seeds sent to me by Ganja Farmer. I dropped all of them as I had planned on running all 3 for the contest but I was only able to pop 1 good one. I was originally excited because when I left them in the water for 36 hours I actually had all 3 with the shells cracked and tails coming out but when I put them in the peat pots only 1 looked really good, and the other that popped just didnt have enough steam and eventually just died even though I watered? If your saying, well maybe you didnt pop them properly? I have used this method about 60 times prior and very few dont pop. No biggie I got one good one as you can see in the pics and it does seem like a strong seedling so I think this will turn out great.
I learned from my last grow with the Wedding Cakes that I have a diary on. I did use 7 gallon pots this time instead of 5s. I plan to grow this plant about 40 inches or so. I will probably flip when I am around 19 inches. Lets go!
So far so good. Havent had any over watering or droopy leaves. Seems to be a good pheno. Had a couple very hot days here but Ive installed the air conditioner in that area of the house and its been great since. Kinda boring at this stage and if you read till now your a hero.
The Gorilla Cookies is still growing good. Its still staying pretty small, Im hoping it is going to really take off in growth this week. Looks really healthy though and I am happy with the color, just hope i didnt get a small pheno. Fingers crossed.
This grow started off a little rough but is now starting to pick up, I am almost 17 inches tall which means I may flip the lights soon. This has been a slower veg but some has definitely been my fault because of the transition with the Wedding cakes I was finishing so alot of light stress for this plant but since its been in the big tent Ive seen a huge improvement. I am sure this one will turn out just fine in the end, hopefully its a winner in the contest we will see!
This plant is starting to look much better, the color looks nice now and the growth is really starting to take off now. I am now at 18 inches so I flipped the lights hoping this plant does not get as big as my last ones I grew. Cant wait to see how the flower looks!
its been 1 week since I flipped to flower and I am noticing alot of stretching and starting to see some hairs on flower sites so I should see some frost starting to come by next week hopefully. Starting to look like a very nice plant now beautiful color on this plant now.
This thing is really growing great. I am impressed with the stretch, and the node spacing. Originally I thought this was going to be a very compact tight node spacing plant but it turned out better than I thought. There are a tonne of schutes on this plant. I defoliated and I had to remove some for light. I switched my light to 11 hours for the flowering to really simulate winter is coming.
This plant is larger than I expected lol. I am pleasantly suprised at the growth on this. I do notice with the foliage that there is a slight citrus smell to this plant so Im hoping that smell is one of the terps in the bud as this is my favorite one. I topdressed 7 tablespoons of Gaia Green Power Bloom and alot of worm castings hope this will finish the grow.
Off to a great start Looking great . My first gorilla cookies didn’t break soil so I planted another yesterday so fingers crossed . Happy growing and best of luck with the competition
@Mz876, I hear ya, usually I can get 100 percent germination but only 1 good out of 3 but at least I got 1 good one hope its a monster! Good luck to you!
@MKultra420, depends what stage im at, but by the time I am flipping to flower I am usually at 80 to 100 percent. I usually keep my light higher than 24 inches I find with this light that your better off with it further from the plant its actually a powerful light.
