SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY This is my diary entry into the Dynomyco Show Us What You Got Contest! #DynomycoShowUsWhatYouGot! @DynomycoShowUsWhatYouGot! Big Shoutout to @Dynomyco for picking me in their contest. Happy to be involved and as a user of Dynomyco I am curious to see this side by side with my own eyes. I will be honest I am a little skeptical it will show any major differences. but we will see what happens. Some disclaimers, I am still using LABS serum I made as well as MIIM Miicrobial Mass. These are also beneficial to the root mass however they are bacteria based and not fungal or mycorrhizae like Dynomyco. https://growdiaries.com/giveaways/DYNOMYCO_Show_Us_What_You_Got I was going to use my own clones I made from the g13 labs grows I just finished but released I had used a Dynomyco in the medium when I was rooting them for a extra strong start. So to fix this little error I went out and purchased two Cherry Pie clones from a local grey market dispensary. I joked Dynomyco will cover the cost and yet to hear back from them lol. I have inoculated one clones rootball and the transplant medium with Dynomyco, the other clone and its medium got no Dynomyco. The Dynomyco Clone is on the left in photos, it's also the only pot with a mini glass thermometer. I did this exact thing in my Dr Seeds Granddaddy Purple Diary vs 60day wonder. I don't expect it to count as an entry but more of a 2nd side by side on two different strains. GDP vs 60DW. Hopefully I will get some stickers in my package and can label the pots as such. I used my own personal stash of Dynomyco as I have not been shipped the contest materials yet but the clones where good to go an I wanted to get this beast on the way. The plants will be grown outdoors and transplanted at min 2 times max 3 times. Nursery pot to 1Gal, "this weekly entry" 1Gal to 2Gal, "3-4 weeks away" and finally 2Gal to 3Gal maybe. "6-8 weeks away" This week 1 entry is the first transplant from nursery pot to 1Gal, I have sheltered them inside for the first few days as we got heavy rainfalls and I did not what that to be to much of a shock for them, they are in my Spider Farmer tent under 24/0 lighting with the SF1000 @60%, they should be good to make their way outside tomorrow if the weathers good. I have noticed I have a lot of outside light interference on my balcony with all the safety lights in the surrounding areas buildings. I am going to try and LST these plants to keep them low and below my balconies wall to avoid excess light pollution. about 3 feet high.

SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY Dynomyco Inoculated Plant On The Left In All Photos | regular plant on the right week 2 of the Dynomyco side by side grow, so far so good, nothing crazy to report, I have noticed the Dynomyco treated plant is a bit taller in height by 2 cm but I don't know if this was Just the clones in general or if it was because of this product. more time will tell us whats happening. Update Just got my Dynomyco Package, branded my grows with it and labelled the Dynomyco plants with the added dynamite spikes. Stickers went onto the fridge. SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY Another week of just chilling, The plants have put on some more leaves but nothing special to report in terms of height maybe +1cm there is some error range when measuring them +- 1-3 cm I would guess and this thing is still at 26 at the tallest point. Nothing else to note, gave them a bit of LAB Serum to help with things, they should be ready for a transplant in the next week or two if they are growing well and putting on lots of roots. SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY TRANSPLANT #2 THIS WEEK!!!! This week was a great one, lots of sun and gave the plants their 2nd transplant of the cycle. only one left to go in a few weeks, the plan was to do 3gal but I feel it would be best to go upto 4gal a 1extra gallon will not be all that much extra root space to expand into. Will have to check if they even make them in 4. I have a feeling its only 1,2,3. Root wise they are looking similar but not identical. I would say the Dynomyco treated plant has a thicker rootball and more of them. but not by a massive amount. More white on the Dynomyco treated plant as well. added in some more Acti-Sol into the transplant medium. same mix as before. Then watered in with some LAB Serum. should do the plants well. I did not add in anymore of the MIIM microbial mass product as I thought it might alter the results of the grow. so we will see how they do now with out it. I'm really liking how well the plants are bushing up. I might have to take some clones and try them indoors as well. I think I prefer to grow more indica leaning strain for their growth habits. SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY Plants are looking nice one week after their 2nd transplant. They are not drinking as much water as I thought they would be doing but that's ok. Getting nice and bushy and I think I'm going to top them on all growth points to form a hedge bush like plant. let them do whatever they want, I don't like training to much outside and wanted to keep this yeas gross stupid simple. no sign of thrips or aphids like one some of the other plants. That's a bonus. Both plants are looking equally good. Maybe the Dynomyco plant has some extra height. SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY Easy going week, nothing exciting happening. booth plants water needs are much lower then I expected. will try and get in final transplant in the next few weeks, I want it to start flowering right now but that's not happening, I think that transplanting it from a 2gal into 3gal will be lacklustre and I need to update to a 5Gal, Only issue is that brand of pot I'm using does not make 5Gal, just 1-2-3. O well. Added in some Bokashi as well to help with the nutrient availability in the medium. No massive differences on Dynomyco treated plant vs untreated. Lets see how it does in flower, I'm sure that's when I will see some eye popping differences. SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY TRANSPLANT #3 THIS WEEK!!!! Big week, did the last transplant of the grow before she enters flower. I decided to skip out on the 3gal and upgraded to a 4.97 or 5gal container. The plastic is cheep and looks like it was going to break but its all the grow store had in stock at the time. Was talking to them about going from a 2gal to 3gal and how it did not do much for the plant but stress it out. They also gave me a free sample of a bokashi fertilizer, I divided that in between the two plants. It looks identical to the regular non fertilizer branded bokashi, and I feel its the same but with a mist of NPK on it or something. Plants are doing well, Dynomyco had a slighter bigger root ball upon transplant and the plant its self is a tiny bit more robust. Given all the other soil boosters and microorganisms I have added into this, I don't feel I will see the true potential of just Dynomyco vs soil nothing else added. I just can't not add the others as it feel like a massive step backwards and end of day a big healthy plant is worth it. This diary may not have massive contrast in favour of Dynomyco but I will still use it none the less and I think its helps plus its not over just yet. Would love to hear what y'all think about this, hit me up in the comments and I'd try and get back to yea as fast as I can. I like how the dead Blue Cindy plant looks like a biophage, sifi like alien thing. SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY The plants are getting massive in this containers, its kinda nuts. I really need to work on finding the time to defoliate them but I am just not available to put a lot of thought and energy into it. They are showing their readiness to flower and little pistils are pooping out of nodes, they recovered quite well from the topping last week. I think they will start to enter flower shortly if I can keep the light pollution down to a minimum. Might involve taking them off the top part of the baloney edge and hiding them down on the balcony floor like the other plants. Ideally I would move them into a tent right now as I know outdoors is going to be getting to might light but o well got to use what I got at this point. One thing I noticed is that the plant that was treated with Dynomyco is headlining the water better and soaking it up faster then the none treated plant, I also think the Dynomyco plant looks a bit more green overall then the non treated plant as well. in all photo the plant on the left is Dynomyco. but they are still the same size and look very healthy over all. SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY SAD FUCKING WEEK, it looks like someone broke into my place and took my wining Dynomyco plant right out from under me. I don't know why they did not take the other one. I figured they would be coming back for it so I wrapped a chain aorund the trunk and lower branches then locked it all up to a big beam under my deck. There was one little board that was rotting and this game me the perfect opportunity to lock em up. I am waiting on all my buildings management team to get off of vacation so I can check the cams and see what has happened. This is 2 weeks ongoing now. There is a small chance this blew over the edge of the building but there was zero soil, plant or broken plastic on the pavement below and I am up a few stories up, so it would not have just landed gracefully. also why would its twin sister plant not do the same, they where in the same area and similar sizes. its all looking like someone came in and took it. Rightfully pissed and not a fan. If I get any images of the person I'll post them here and if it blew off I'll see if I can get a video feed of it smashing to the ground. So pissed, So dumb, its legal here, grow your own fucking plants or ask for a clone its not hard. little update on this week when performing a soil test I saw lots and lots of white healthy roots in the medium. Wanted to check my EC and PH from a soil sample. SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY Good week, plants has a bit of a nitrogen issues and corrected that with some feed. Found out the mediums levels were below normal and causing some issues. Guess I forgot to top dress with dry amendments in the mess of the twin plant disappearing. Gave them a top dressing this week with some Acti-Sol as I also ran out of Gaia Green. I think I am going to get the big bags of it and store it in my locker. 10KG-20KG each of bloom and Grow. Can use that in my garden as well not just for cannabis should be good I like the product and how it performs overall. Still no word on the missing plant, As the "Show Us What You Got" contest comes to a close I was reassured by @Dynomyco that my progress thus far would be used for the evaluation of how I place in the contest. I will miss out on how the buds and yield compare but I can get this none Dynomyco plant up to speed and even inoculate the medium with some Dynomyco just in time for flowering. SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY Ok so I fell off the wagon a bit and forgot to place one of the weeks up in this contest. Bad news first, still no word or proof of the missing plant, I did get access to the camera room but there is so much footage to sort threw, so now it is just finding the time to get all that done. hopefully sooner then later. I was able to confirm it did not fall off the edge like I was thinking. That video feed is much easier to check. now all that's left is to check the roof top cams and inner hallways. Will know if it was a person from inside the building or outside of it soon enough. If your the one who took it and are reading this. Please return it and I'll give you some clones. Bird shit on the plant this week, fun fun, and its started to turn in colour already. had a cold wet week here. I thought it would have started bulking up a bit more before tuning, hopefully it will not get to cold in the next few weeks and it can finish up. Will take some clones and see if I want to grow them out. Its WPM resistance has been golden and its been aorund other plants on the deck that do have it. so a+ for that. Still have some dead leaves and yellowing going on. going to let it finish on its own. done feeding it, soil should have enouth in it to bring it to harvest. Well I found out what happened to the plant. Took forever to get the footage but I finally did. Windy Day + Forgot To Water = Plants Blown Over The Edge I also moved the other plant inside to see if it will do any better vs outside in the cold wet weather, stringed up some other lights and will update this soon. Just wanted to get the main pic of the missing plant up and my disappointment for the side by side contest. Given the outcome of the Dynomyco contest I will not be giving them credit for anything and will remove all branding in this contest. They have picked a diary that did not adhere to the rules they set in place then they arbitrarily changed the rules.... Sick of this shit from companies and grow diaries. The diary they picked as #1 is a joke, it does not showcase the product at all. Its a good looking plant but it does not tick any of the boxes for the contest. From the contest page. The selected growers are required to do the following: post updates of their plants to the forum – GROW JOURNAL SECTION - twice a week and tag "DYNOMYCO SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT " Upload your side-by-side photos includes: Your application of DYNOMYCO into your growing mediums At every transplant, you MUST snap root pics, General pictures of your plants (stem, leaves, and plant health) At harvest time we want to see those rootballs!! A minimum of 2 plants For your side-by-side you must use cuttings from the same strain Not once did the "winner" tag Dynomyco show us what you got as requested in the rules in the diary or any comment on the diary. Nor did they mention this was a comparative grow using Dynomyco. They called the diary side by side and that's it no other communication. They did not document every transplant, and the one they did do was one single photo. "pics" as in plural as per contest rules. They did not use clones/cuttings from the same strain as was the contest requirements, Over all a complete shit show and I would not recommend using this product if you use any form of phosphorous fertilizer It will not add anything for your grow. Zero application outside of soil based grows in the earth, not a pot. Just wasted money, More on the phosphorous below: Fungi and Mycorrhizae find excess phosphorous toxic and they do not come out of their spore state to form beneficial relationships with the roots. https://s3.wp.wsu.edu/uploads/sites/403/2015/03/mycorrhizae.pdf [But by far the most damaging to mycorrhizal health is excessive fertilizer application, especially of those containing phosphate; this includes composted manure and many soilless potting mixes. With a plethora of nutrients, plants are less dependent on mycorrhizae, and competitive free-living microbes thrive in nutrient-rich soils. Mycorrhizal fungi retreat into the shadows, remaining inactive until more hospitable soil conditions return.] https://s3.wp.wsu.edu/uploads/sites/403/2015/03/phosphate.pdf [Moreover, it has been experimentally demonstrated that high levels of phosphorus are detrimental to mycorrhizal health and lower the rate of mycorrhizal infection of root systems. This mutually beneficial relationship between the fungus and the plant roots allows the plant to more effectively explore the soil environment and extract needed nutrients. In the absence of mycorrhizae, the plant must expend more energy growing additional roots and root hairs to accomplish the same task.] https://s3.wp.wsu.edu/uploads/sites/403/2015/03/phosphate-2.pdf [Numerous studies have demonstrated that roses, like most terrestrial plants, maintain symbiotic relationships with beneficial fungi. If you add phosphate to your rose plants, you will decrease the ability of mycorrhizal fungi to colonize the rose roots. Without these fungal partners, rose roots must work harder to extract water and nutrients from the soil. Moreover, this excess phosphate is injurious to other soil organisms. With increased fertilizer additions, soil salinity increases. You have now created an artificial system in which soil health is so impacted that you must continue to add fertilizer for your plants to survive.]

This diary is not worthy of a harvest and if I could I would delete the thing entirely, but I like the little videos I made in it so I will keep it for reference. Dynomyco messed up the contest real bad and they have since tried to make amends but still left the contest page in shambles, by awarding 1st to a diary that did not even showcase their products or follow the rules its all stupid and a dumb waste of time, to make it worse, when clarifying with them they told me alternate information. Was award 1st then it was removed from an error on grow diaries behalf, so I was told. They also forgot to send me the package at the contest end but a quick follow up fixed that. Received the seeds they promised as extra, no idea of the company or their genetics, rarely grow reg seed but maybe I will try it or give them out to some friends. Overall the management of the contest was a hot fucking mess and destroyed the relationship I had with the brand. The product itself is fine and has good application in soil based grows, that's up my alley but I don't foresee myself advertising their products for free on my diaries. Other products do similar things and are made locally like Miicrobial Mass from MIIM Horticulture, this is more where I want to go moving forward if I can. This harvest entry is fake, the contest was over for me when the one plant went missing and the revised winner was announced, m0use
