Northern_Ent July 31: started using soluble wood ash as K source. See today’s Gorilla Gelato diary for details.
Aug 3: these are regular seeds but all three seem to be female. The bigger two might be males, TBD.
Aug 5: one of the two bigger plants is a male. No obvious redeeming qualities I want to perpetuate so it was culled.

Northern_Ent Not impressed with this strain. Only 3 of 8 regular seeds germinated, one male, one very slow and/or a photoperiod, and one very small with no branching.
Northern_Ent Sep 2: removed top buds on flowering plant due to rot. Almost ready but will keep it going just to see how it does. Other, taller plant is barely flowering. Not impressed.
Sep 6: took 14 g wet from top buds while removing another bud with some bud rot.

Northern_Ent Sep 9: tall one was culled because it was way too slow and would not finish in time. Small one is a different pheno and is almost done.
@Northern_Ent, Good! I just got Stardust auto regulars from flash seeds as well. My plan is to back cross it to have a stock of autos and to make some crosses with other lovely plants I have. :)
@Sipina, me too. This strain from Flash seeds has been around for a while but this will be the first diary. Likely not great on its own but I’m doing it mostly for breeding for a good auto hash plant.
@CombatCat, this Red Lebanon strain sucked. Many phenotypes, poor germination, small and not resistant to rot. Lots of better choices for hash. I grew Panama Lime two years ago and it was a total fave so not all of his strains are problems. You might find a good phenotype that you could breed but I had no such luck.
@CombatCat, not sure at this point. Only 3 of 8 seeds germinated, one was male, one is small and fast, and the third one is just starting to flower. Might turn out okay but I’m more impressed with others.
