Getting ready for a big move across country, so I have time for one more Autoflower grow. Since I've gotten more experience, I have decided to give GD another crack.

Looks like number 9 came up after all! Some of the plants are starting to stretch a bunch, so I pumped my light up from 25% to 50%. I'm still going to keep it high for a couple more days, then I'll drop it to 24". Plants still aren't quite ready for nutes, so plain water and Calimagic to get those stems strong. Turned off the box fan to help one of the plants correct its lean, just using the filtered intake fan for circulation. Update 6/22 - Finally was able to transplant the plants into their final homes today. The new pot size is 3 gallon. The recipe for my medium that I have used a lot over the last couple of years is as follows: 3/4 fill pot with Mother Earth Coco + Perlite, add 2 tbsp Plant Success granules, 3 tbsp Kelp Meal, and 4 tbsp Bat Guano, and top with more coco until the plants are at the needed depth. They all work together to give the roots a nice environment to spread over the entire pot. They got their first bath of nutrients today, so we should see them perking up very quickly. The plants this times are named after characters from one of my favorite animes this time. From back to front, left to right: Ban, Harlequin (King), Merlin Escanor, Diane, Gowther Elizabeth, Hawk, Meliodas

6/24 - I finally nailed down the last issue, and raised the temperature in the garden. Where other gardens have liked it cooler, this one definitely prefers a warmer clime, even liking temps as high as 90. As usual, after transplanting and adjusting the temperature, these plants are greatly accelerating already. The light is at 80%, usually where it remains in veg. I usually don't bump it to 100% until week 4-5. Keep looking in, I update frequently. 6/27 - I don't need to, but I'll probably water again tomorrow anyhow. This is part of why I like fabric/air pots, I can top off the plants on a schedule without fear of overwatering. Other than that, The plants are all splitting their stems, including Diane, the tri-leaf. She was the one I was most concerned about, since she won't have much time to catch up to her own huge body and needs. This being said, today her stem has a nice big split all down the side, so she's starting to grow fast now too. This is the upside of my amendments, they basically supercharge vegetative growth, lessen transplant shock, and leaves the roots far more resilient to change. 6/29 - Haircut day! All of the ladies but the tri-leaf got a heavy defoliation today. I like to start them early, and at the rate they were going, they will barely feel it. Each leaf I take now is one less I have to trim!

First criticism, this is the first week that the plants are beginning to enter the Transition stage, and we just have Veg and Flower. Now, moving along to the week's updates: 7/03 - For now, I'm taking leaves that start to shade each plant. Today, some of the Biscauto started to show their first transitional pistils, so they're going to be stretching soon! I start to see a little sign of transition on the Bruce Banners, but they're a bit behind here. Beyond that, each plant is really looking good. I bumped the thermostat on the space heater keeping the plants warm with the AC running, so temps got out of whack for a couple of days, but we're back on track.

Mostly letting the girls grow. So, real talk, what the hell, FastBuds? These Bruce Banners have such a jacked-up structure. The Biscautos have all mostly widened and flattened out, but these plants are growing straight up! 7/11 - Dropped the lights all the way to 16". We'll see how they react. 7/12 - They were getting a little too bushy, so it was time to remove the last big batch of leaves. The Biscauto all have big, well developed bud sites all the way down the plants. I actually love the structure pf them, which since I picked up the seeds on a whim at the hydro shop, is a really nice surprise.

Well, here we go. This is a tent where the plants have diverged almost up to two weeks in development. The Bruce Banners are finally *starting* to show pistils, here in week 6, so they're about to start flowering. Three of the Biscauto are right on track with where they should be in terms of development, the other three are a week behind. Diane, the Tri-leaf in the center, is starting to get an insane amount of buds. Week 6, 5 weeks to go, and the buds there already are large and covering the plant. Each of these Biscauto is giving me signs of being huge yielders.

Moving into week 7, I continue to hate growing flowering plants. While I do see bud growth, they are just so boring to watch. This week we're just about finished with our little fungus gnat problem. I was overwatering the Bruce Banners a hair, and changing my watering practices was all I needed. Was never more in there than about 3-5 at a time anyhow, it wasn't ever a serious infestation. This is why you check your plants every day, kids! Some of the Biscauto are beginning to show a beautiful light purple coloration. The smell is noticeably sweet, like walking into a bakery, thus the name. Had to toss Diane on a box to get her more level with the others. The tri-leaf seems to be stunted, but it also is covered top to bottom in huge buds. Finally, Biscauto is a *bushy* plant. If you plan to grow it, I definitely recommend regular defoliation to stop it choking out light to the lower parts of the plants.

These ladies all needed a serious haircut. To those who decry defoliation: Why? The plant needs light to survive, and they produce WAY too many leaves to be grown indoor without modification. I'm just too tired for a real update. The plants are flowering, and the buds are getting fatter. See my picture captions for my real notes.

Moving along, moving along. This tent is freaking weird. King, Diane, and Gowther (Center rear, dead center, right center respectively) are *at* week 9 in terms of development. Ban, Merlin, and Escanor (left rear, right rear, and left center) are around week 7, and the Bruce Banners are comfortably around week 5-6. Diane is not going to be much of a yielder, but I really wanted to see how the tri-leaf autoflower grew. Little bonsai, half the hight of the other Biscautos. Gowther, on the other hand... this plant is going to be *big*. 22" tall, wide branches, and big buds all the way down, this plant is going to yield some bud. King is more or less average. Good bud development, good size. Merlin... she needed 2 haircuts this past week, each time I took more than 100 leaves. Covered with budsites, she is the slowest of the biscautos. I have no expectations for the Bruce Banners.

These plants are getting kind of amazingly huge. What do you want me to say, another week or two and the harvests are going to start. I don't have much to say now, so let's blow up Fastbuds for the rest of this post. Seriously, Fastbuds, what the fuck is this shit? I used to be like most growers, shunning autos as inferior, talking shit about auto breeders, the works. Then I decided to give autos a try. I grew Fastbuds Purple Lemonade and Blackberry, and honestly, I was impressed. I've grown fastbuds a lot, and have typically gotten great growing plants, great yields, stinky buds, and plants growing right on the 12 week schedule. I've gotten other photoperiod growers to give them a try, and I've defended them from autoflower haters. Then I grew these Bruce Banners. I will never grow FB Bruce Banner ever again. All three plants have been slow developing, needy, prone to issues, and honestly, disappointing. The Biscauto from a totally unknown breeder is kicking its *ass*, both in yield, stink, and plant size. I get that not everything is going to be a winner, but all 3 plants, same problems, same tent as 6 other plants that are *thriving*. What. The. Fuck. Fastbuds?

I've got three plants rounding the bend to harvest. Three more about 2 weeks behind. Bruce Banners will only be completed if they are done when I move. Nothing really to say, Putting more and more Yo-yos up every couple of days,

This is some next-level, amazing stuff. The buds smell great, are smooth as butter, and have a sweet cookie taste on finish. Uncured, it is smooth, sweet, and extremely potent. Some buds are so hard I've never seen anything this hard. Very, very bushy plant, so prepare to defoliate a couple times per week.

Great strain, great smoke. Seek it out, and grow it. This has got to be one of the best impulse buys I have ever had. Purple buds seem to be something like 2/3 in a cold grow room, so have fun!

What schedule do you use for the General Hydroponics 3-part Flora series? I’m looking for an autoflower feed schedule from someone who’s used it. Thanks for your help.
