I started the same, by soaking in a container of water for 24hrs then transferring to a wet paper towel in a humidity dome (ziploc bag). After about 12hrs the tap root poked out and I planted about 1cm deep into a rapid rooter puck. Placed the puck into a small seed tray to sit in about 1cm of water under blue seedling lights. The membrane around the seed needed to be carefully pulled off after the seed casing came off. I used sanitized tweezers to gently remove it.
