Seed germinated fine with the paper towel method.
But planted them to close the soil surface, so after spouting they all still had their coat on.
2 out of 3 lost their coat of 3 days but one needed help with tweezers.
Overwatering/Fungus gnats:
I noted that the seedlings were growing very slow. I have been spraying them with tap water twice a day and my self made pot mix had pre wet perlite and vermiculite in it, so I figured the slow grow was due to overwatering.
After checking the soil I also noticed one small black crawling insect (fungus gnats?).
I was worried that pest could have been eating the roots so i got myself some neem oil.
I waited 3 days to let the soil dry out a little and sprayed the top soil with a neem oil + soap solution. Hope this will help...
Overall the plants/leafs look fine I guess, just a little small.
Lighting:
I have been running my LED light at 80% 45cm from the surface. Might increase it to 100% to see if they can handle it.
Van:
4” incline van has been running at level 5-6
6”circulator clip fan has been running at Level 5 (pointed at plants)
It has been 10 days after the seeds popped. In my eyes they look a bit small. Have I been watering too much? I gave them 3 day water break after spraying them every day twice. I also noticed fungus gnats, so i sprayed the soil with neem oil mix. Anything I have been missing?
Hey man. Try start her on some food. Also, idk y you aren't starting them in smaller pots. Too big a pot too soon is not so good. Don't mind ppl who saying uppoting is bad for autos, it's only bad if it's done wrong.
Uppotting and making a root ball helps create strong roots and starting off in a smaller pot allows your roots to take hold and start building a structure and will give you stronger roots.
Slow down on the watering. You won't need that much as you plant is so small the roofs will struggle to take hold and get quick growth in such big pots.
Have a look at my grows. I started in 1.7L and transplanted, even some were a lil root bound and had to break up the clay and there was no shock I haven't had droopy leafs once.

Watering:
Since I overwater the past week, I went easy on them this week and let pots dry out a little more.
Lightening:
Raised the power to 100% and kept the distance the same, so far so good.
Temperature/Humidity:
Raised to 26 degrees and kept humidity at 65-70%
Feeding:
Since the plants still look a little small I will give them their first nutrients of General Hydroponics and Cal-Mag today.
That's just from nutrient been. When a leaf is burn it'll die off. The plant as a whole is healthy.
And as for calmag. They are autos. And I've ran into a calmag issue with my photo when it was in week 4. So I'd say stick with the calmag as it's only a low EC so it won't hurt to use it. And cal plays a big part of your plant taking up everything it needs.

Overall growth
Filling up good, still bit short but hopefully this will change soon.
Watering/Feeding.
I started with nutrients and started measuring my PH in the water.
The plants got fed twice with nutrients and are going to get just water tomorrow. All at PH 6.0
Temperature/Humidity
No change during day time.
I started giving them light 18/6 instead of 24/0 to give them a night break but this resulted in very high humidity during the dark time. 87% at 21 Degrees Celsius. Since I don't have dehumidifier yet I will change back to 24/0 for now.
Light distance
I will increase the light distance to 60cm at 100%, 40cm seem a little short (not sure though)
Nothing wrong here.
Your feed can start to go up a little over the next week or so. But keep it light.
I'd keep the calmag in the bag until you get closer to pre flower. As you want your plant to focus on core NPK to get her off the ground.
All you really need at the start is a good base to go off from and you have that.
Maybe look into getting some smaller pots to start them off in. As too big a pot too soon can do more harm than good. You want to make a root ball and you'll only get that quickly by uppotting if you aren't going to be using any root stims you gotta work on making stronger roots and in turn they'll return the favour by strong nutrient uptake and so on.

Training:
The grow has been going well. No issues this week. Started LST which was kind a challenging because the plants are short and bushy.
Watering/Nutrients:
Raised the nutrients and water twice this week once the pots was close to dry. They are going to just get PH ballanced water next. So two days on, one days off.

Light is running at 100% now with 60cm distance
Temperature/Humidity
I feel like i currently got the perfect balance without even using a humidifier/dehumidifier.
i gotta invest in a humidifier soon to preper for flowering
Flowering started and the plants are looking healthy. No issues this week.
I continuously did some LST every 2 days and also took off some off the bottom fan leaves that weren't getting much light anyway.
Added Cal-mag back into the feeding schedule. Temperature and humidity stayed the same the whole week.
Flowering started but the plants still seem a bit short.
Maybe too much or too close light? Or something else?
Tried avoiding light off because its hard controlling the rise of humidity.
Looks like your just getting into flower and you should see the 2 week stretch through the next week, The culprit was likely your light was too close or intense. do you know or have a way to measure your PPFD? if not you could raise your light to get the girls to stretch if they don't start to now that they are in flower.
Buds been forming nicely. Since I didn't see much horizontal growth i stopped LST and just let them grow wild now.
I took of some of the bottom leaf's at the bottom of the plants but will keep it to a minimum moving forward.
I introduced some light off time which increased the humidity too much so i will keep it to a maximum of 3-4h off. I might have to increase my exhaust van speed next.

Training Autos to much is useless and taking of Fan leaves just lowers the Plant ability to grow...
Autos have a very short window to be trained or messed with otherwise since they are on a timer.

No problems this week. Condition stayed the same. Cant see my vertical growth but the buds are growing nicely. I noted that some for the lower how yellow tips. Could be the Nutrients, lest see if I can fix it before harvest.
The leaves are getting bright green and yellow at the bottom. They didnt seem to like the last feeding of 3.75ml bloom, 2ml micro and 2ml cal-mag per gallon.
Got about 2 weeks to harvest, anything im doing wrong?
I think you have a ph imbalance in the substrate with what your using and how the plant is trying to use it. My question back would be what is the run off ph and ec. I think your in lock out. It won't matter how much feed you give if roots can't work due to wrong ph. Should be around a 6.5. If ph is off you need to flush soil with ph water then reapply feed. Can go stronger on potassium and phosphorus in this stage.
Would have to check ph first of run off if my theory is right or not. Happy growing 🌱
I noticed that some of the leaves turned yellow probably because of a lack of nutrients.
I increased the dosage per feeding and will monitor the situation. I will also check the run off PH before the next feeding to see how my soil PH is doing compared to what's going in.
Since my plants showed a nutrient deficiency (bright/yellow leaves, I measured the PH runoff which was too high at 7.5. I started to flushing each plant with 10 gallons of PH water to get the PH down , without much success probable should have kept going but it was getting late. Refed the plants with nutrients after at PH 5.8, will keep doing this and check runoff again in a few days.
I will keep feeding them for at least another week.
I think you're close - but would need a much closer look at the trichs to be certain. Personally, I'd give her another week with nutes, then a week of nothing but water and then chop....

Nice harvest for this short size plants. Thick buds. It took a bit longer than expected but the outcome was great for my fist grow. The bottom buds could have needed some more time to finish but i didn’t have the time for partial harvest of the top ones.
Congrats on getting into growing this AMAZING plant. Would you be alright with me offering some pointers? So cannabis plants LOVE heat and humidity. It is the buds that hate it. In veg we want to take advantage of this fact to help our plants grow along much quicker and more vigorously. In veg we can look for temps of 79-84 MAX with lights on & no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. If we allow for too much temperature swing between lights on and lights off while the plant is still growing vertically up to day 20 of flower, We will cause the plant to stretch ALOT which we do not want. So in veg & early flower, Keeping our temperature gaps nice and close between lights on and off is key. Utilizing humidity in our rooms during veg will also help out a lot with more rapid growth but we must introduce it properly. In our rooms we have our temperature and humidity set-points, But when we combine those 2 it forms a third set-point which is the most important & that is called VPD, Vapor pressure deficit.
I strongly recommend every new grower or old grower who has not learned it yet, To study and understand it & implement it into your room, Logging your numbers daily.

For soil, We generally want to go for a PH of 6.1.

As we briefly touched on before, During veg & early flower we want our temperature gap's nice and tight to avoid stretch. Why exactly our plants stretch in response to this is a genetic trigger being activated by the environmental stress essentially telling the plant the end of the season is closer than it really is. In veg & early flower the plant is still in its first stage of development which is to grow up wide and tall so when it produces seed, It can cast them out nicely. Remember, Whether we are growing our plants for seed or bud their genetic responses do not change as they gh sidedo not know any different. Once the plant has finished that first stage of growth by weeks 4-6 of flower with most strains, It is by day 20 of flower. Autoflowers you have to watch for it, But once the plant has finished this goal its new mission is to focus 100% on producing nice big flower clusters & to get very sticky so it can attract pollen to it successfully.
So once that vertical growth is finished, We actually now want to begin to expose our plants to larger temperature swings between lights on and lights off. This will help activate that genetic response and allow us to draw out the most potential from the strain utilizing the plants genetic triggers to environmental stresses at the right times. We can also take this a step further with doing light deprivation in the last 2 weeks using less light to simulate cloud cover. Very cold feed temps on the last flush is very good too. If you do not have them already, Get yourself a good PAR meter & thermal laser temp gun to monitor your plant top temperatures & optimize how much light your plants are getting.
