Planted directly into 5gal pots. Bottom of pot is amended with Gaia Green 4-4-4 and earthworm castings. Happy Frog soil was used. Planning to top dress and maybe give them the odd tea.
They are in there with my tomatoes and peppers until balcony repairs are done and then I will move the tomatoes and peppers out there. Probably a bad idea keeping them with the pot plants. We will see.
Huge growth since last week. Spread them out quite a bit with tie downs. The lemon is resisting this the most. It is so leafy too. The cookies and Gelato are already starting to flower.
Top dressed with worm casting, happy frog, gaia green bloom, and a bit of 4-4-4. Watered with 5 ml per gal of terpinator at 6.5ph.
They are spread out nicely with plant ties. All appear to be flowering now with the exception of the Lemon. Was thinking of putting in a net for a scrog but plant ties are pretty close to the same and I can move plants around this way.
The kosher cake has such thin leaves and buds compared to the rest but is still early. Cookies is leading the flowering race by over a week easily. Thick stem and big leaves on the lemon.
They have all responded so good to the LST. I snipped a few leaves blocking buds. Perhaps 2-3 per plant. Watering with 5ml of terpinator per gallon at 6.5. Next week the plan was to give them a compost tea.
Busy week. Didn't get around to making a tea. Top dressed all with 5 Tbsp Gaia Green Bloom, 1 cup ewc, 1 Tbsp gaia green 4-4-4.
They are all stretching good except for the cookies.
Top dressed with ewc, seaweed extract, rock phosphate, terpinator, molasses extract. Trying a lot if new stuff here. Hope it isn't too hot for these girls. It is 30c in there during the day. I run the a/c for a bit sometimes to help. At least it is under 40rh.
Heat wave continues. Running the AC for 6+ hours during the day to keep temps in the mid 20s. Otherwise it is 32+c during the day.
Lemon is stacking nicely. It will be a good yield from this one as long as these buds fatten up. Intense citrus skunky smell.
Kosher Cake has a crazy amount of frost. Very sweet smell when you touch the stem and buds.
Cookies has very fat buds already. Less than 12 inches tall.
Watering with terpinator, molasses, soluble seaweed extract.
They look amazing this morning.
Leaves are all yellowing out on all of them. Thought it might be a ph issue and lockout but checked it and soil ph is 7 so don't think it's that.
Looks like fungus gnats are thinning out. Fingers crossed.
I'll start flushing these girls next week. I'll maybe give the Lemon a couple extra weeks since she was a bit slow.
Missed a week. Not much happening.
Lemon is still getting molasses and terpinator. Everything else is on just water. The end is near...
The buds on the cookies are the fattest things I've ever seen. I keep checking them cuz I'm paranoid of getting bud rot
Going to harvest kosher Cake, cookies, Gelato this week. I've a tendency to rush the harvest so I've really been waiting on this.
Lemon has a few weeks left at least.
Cookies turned out really airy. Cake less so. Cake smells amazing...so sweet. They went 6 days drying and been curing for a few days now. Gelato has been drying for 3 days.
Lemon will be a couple more weeks.
Gelato has some dense nugs and it smells incredible. One more week for the 🍋
I didn't weigh them. They are all between 1.5 - 2oz I think. Lemon I think will be over 2.
40°. Oh my sweat is drying out. My friend this is hard for both of you. Where are you from? Nevada?(I guess its warm there).
Greetings from middle europe where 30° are far enough.
Nice collection of strains there , the cake looks just caked with thc , I hope your heatwave ends soon !! I know when plants are in heat stress they will have harder time uptakeing nutrients and will prolong the maturing of fruits- whatvpart of Canada you in ? I’m in NS
