Thank you SSSC for allowing me to participate in this contest! I'm very excited, it's my first contest!
06/28 - Placed into paper towels with water and splash of Liquid Seaweed.
06/30 - Taproots emerged and placed into peat pellet rapid rooters to establish.
07/02 - Both plants have broken surface.
07/05 - Moved to 5 gallon pots. From here the ladies will be left to establish and given PH'd water for 1-2 weeks with some very light nutes like liquid seaweed.
I have 5 gallon pots being conditioned right now for them as well with perennial white dutch clover.
Some infos about this strain courtesy of SSSC's webpage:
- Pineapple Poison is a cross between a female Pineapple (Old-school Skunk selection) and a reverted Durban Poison male from Dutch Passion.
- Pineapple Poison is a Sativa dominant variety with a fast-flowering time of about 8 weeks on average. Some phenotypes might be even faster, these can be done in just 7 weeks.
- Pineapple Poison has a very special aroma. It’s kind of exotic and new, but old-school at the same time. Her mostly fruity, tropical notes are accompanied by the classic aniseed aroma of the Durban Poison.
@SSSC_John, Patience has never been my strong-suit because of ADHD but growing plants has definitely helped me get better at it over time. This is my 3rd grow ever but I've learned a lot and I think these are looking to be my best flowers yet. Thanks!! Can't wait to take final pictures before harvest - I'll be using photography lights and a black backdrop on a motorized rotating stand!
@Mrs_Larimar, I thought of that too and also pulled up the light a few inches away from the plants but I just never wrote it aha. I was using the BP2500 but I switched to my SE7000 far above the canopy for 600 PPFD + CO2 and the problem has stopped progressing ^^
