Plants are going well. They were yellowing a bit more than I would like since this was still Week 5, so I boosted the Nitrogen in their feed this weed using Micro & Gro by General Hydroponics.
Unfortunately, PP1 has started throwing bananas out quite a bit. She's very frosty compared to her sister, but there will be a number of seeds in the bud. I've picked off as many bananas as I could get to, so it hopefully won't be too bad. I should have noticed earlier because some of the pistils were browning quite early which is typically a sign of fertilization.
Yellowing has been stopped for the most part with the addition of extra Nitrogen to keep the plants from senescing too far before harvest.
Very excited to smoke it after all is said and done, these plants are slated to come on vacation with me to the mountains in 2 weeks so my and my friends can all get high while on vacation.
@SSSC_John, Patience has never been my strong-suit because of ADHD but growing plants has definitely helped me get better at it over time. This is my 3rd grow ever but I've learned a lot and I think these are looking to be my best flowers yet. Thanks!! Can't wait to take final pictures before harvest - I'll be using photography lights and a black backdrop on a motorized rotating stand!
@Mrs_Larimar, I thought of that too and also pulled up the light a few inches away from the plants but I just never wrote it aha. I was using the BP2500 but I switched to my SE7000 far above the canopy for 600 PPFD + CO2 and the problem has stopped progressing ^^
