Hi, i popped a seed last weekend to start with this strain
i read a bit about it and got interested, and i was abe to get a deal which i couldn't say no to at the seedstockers site
a couple of days later the growcaps arrived.
I will try to do 2 of the same strain in (for the difference in phenotype)
I like the look of the nutrients when the seed is planted, they look a bit like little colorless jelly lumps in the soil.
Really really curious about the end result.
--- update --
i had some bad luck with the weather, it was too hot for the little one and dropped her leaves. i tried to revive her, but it didn't help.
luckily i planted a new one last week, i will continue this diary with that seedling
first one died, this is number two
it was very hot last week and the other one died
for now, the seedling is doing good, maybe a little stretching from the start, but that shouldn't be a problem
i spotted one of the jellies in the pot, the one i saw was colorless
a bird fooled around in the pot, and nearly derooted this one
a bid bad luck, but it wasn't the end so as it seems
let's hope growth will continue faster very soon
this week, the weather is bad, good temperature, but a lot of rain, so i put them in a simple greenhouse
this one is a week behind due to root damage (a bird landed on top of it, luckily cats were around)
i am very happy with growcaps this week :)
what was left from the rootstystem has been recovered nicely
i left her in the rain yesterday, and she seems to like it.
growth is not super, but if you take 1 week off for recovery, growth is normal
Hi all, the blackberry gum is one week behind and it seems to survive the birddance in the pot at reasonable rate
but, that's the risk of growing outdoors, this one sits in the tent since then.
I hope that growth will continue soon ath higher rate
Hi, welcome to my blackberry Gum diary
she's still a bit small, bu i am happy she recovered well from the bird attack
i think the mites are dead now, just hope they don't come back stronger
maybe i should buy some new seeds fast to get a better expierience with this seed
First flowering hairs :)
Growth is good, mites seem to have left
growcaps nutrients are doing their job very well
Hoping for some nice side branches to emerge from the stem (yet)
waiting for the buds to take shape
so for all looks good, a little slow but i will wait patiently
i was a little late posting pictures this week, so next week a little early
probably wednesday
this black blackberry is doing quite good
i'm so happy, this one nearly didn't make it and now we can see beautifull sweetness groing
really hoping for more bud to develop
i kinda like this black weed thing...
everytime i look at it it makes me smile,
the color of the bud doesn't look very appealing when you're used to normal green weed,
but when you look closer, you see the shning trichomes, and the sweet smells overwhelmes you
i will try another one in the near future
welcome to my seedstockers blackberry gum diary
only growcaps feeding
you should read first couple of weeks to get an overview of how this bud has been fighting for it's life since day 1.
This one managed to survive and give us some small but beautifull trichome packed dark purple coloured bud.
She seems to be finishing already, so when she's ready I'll cut the stem
overall very easy strain, also a strong strain, it almost got derooted and yielded such strong weed anyway.
the taste of the weed was very sweet, with a deep berry jam taste. the smell was like the cleaning agent citronel.
easy to grow, thanks to the grow caps. Thank you for having us test this nutrient.
