claveroide I took these photos at the beginning of week 5, there's the explanation for the light change, however, they have already started showing pre-flowers and began to grow exponentially. It has rained a lot where I live these weeks, so it's been difficult to lower the humidity. If the rains keep repeating, I will buy a dehumidifier for the upcoming flowering stage.

claveroide The light was changed from metal halide to sodium. The plants are growing beautifully, there's one plant that has longer internodal distances than the others, however, they are all on a good path. Quite a branched autoflowering plant.

claveroide I am pleasantly surprised with the flowering. Due to light cost issues, I had to reduce the intensity from 400w to 250w, which will decrease the yield; however, the plants have responded positively. One of them shows a very different phenotype from the others with darker leaves. The tallest and largest one seems to be lagging behind the others since while her sisters are producing resin and fattening the buds, she is still generating new flowers and pistils. I can't even imagine how they will be at 30 days of flowering!

I started having problems with plants 1 and 4, which I attribute to over-fertilization, as they aren't fattening up like the other two, plus they share the same phenotype. I will keep an eye on the progress over the next few weeks, and if I don't see any improvements, I will apply a root flush.

claveroide I'm very pleased with the development of the plants even though I had to lower the power from 400w to 250w. However, despite having done a root wash, plants #1 and #4 are still not fully developing the buds, having a lot of brown pistils. I bought a pH meter and the substrate measured at 5.9, so I'm adjusting it to raise the pH to 6.2. Next week will be the last time I fertilize, and I'll start giving a final flush to see if the over-fertilization issues are corrected and also to apply the necessary root wash.

claveroide This week was a week of observation due to the over-fertilization issues I was having. The effect of the root flush along with the reduction of fertilizers was noticeable with the yellowing of some leaves on the plant. The smell of the plants is at its highest level, and the amount of resin that's appearing gives a very beautiful frosty appearance to the plants. I have a feeling that the plants still need that final push for fattening that I hope will happen in these last weeks, and I've received the final flush that I will start using this week.
Your grow is incredible!! Especially since you've had to reduce your lights! Good luck the rest of the way - I think this is going to be a monster harvest!
The brown spots are due to the non-assimilation of cal/mag (caused by pH or not enough cal/mag) or you have too much P.K and not enough cal/mag. But I think it was due to the pH; for the cal/mag to be used by the plant, you need to aim between 6 and 6.5 in soil.
@Kmikaz420, thanks for confirming it for me! Looking at my watering schedule, there were two weeks when I watered twice with fertilizer (monster bloom) and I think that caused the over-fertilization. I bought a pH meter, so now and for the upcoming grows, I'll give it the importance it deserves.
@claveroide, you did very well! Personally, I would rather go without nutrients for a grow than without my pH and ppm tester (because if the pH isn't right, no amount of nutrients will help the plant use them ;) If you have any questions, come see me, I'm happy to help!
