It comes with great depression that i may end up having to start all over with new beans.... unfortunately during week 2 i had a major algae bloom that caused black fungus to grow on the leaves of the right side tote.. i trimmed them as i saw them but none the less they continued... ended up chopping off the first 2 node fans immediately leaving a completely stunted little girl...
Rule of thumb and a very important one at that! GET ORP METERS!
I added hydrogen peroxide 3% to my solution based on its proper dosage but did not consider how early it was for this so the extra oxygen molecule totally wrecked my system.. both totes... algae all the way up half of the rockwools... girls stunted.
I have since corrected the res issue and cleaned, removed and algae infected foots after washing them down. However, the problem of the fungus still continues to spread and the plants show no signs of growth in 4 days since i noticed and redid the reservoirs.. im shocked and disappointed at the same time.
Never the less, i ha e put two fresh Creme beans down to germinate in case these dont actually come back. Didnt really want a set back in weeks of growth and nutrient either..
Pictures all show whats goin on and the soil plant is there for reference since i planted that one about 4 days after the 2 Cremes popped.. im sad :(
