Attemped to start mainling, never tried this before, so fingers crossed! I have left 2 sets of leafs, as i was nervous about taking her down to just 1 set. Temps are higher than i hoped, partly due to the recent heatwave! I will be investing in more fans/co2 bags. Any tips appreciated!

Realised I had been trying to create a manifold out of fan leaves lol... I must've been high! Removed all the ties and started again! Noticed the thin wire I was using has damaged the skin, so I have switched to thick cushioned wire. Will leave them alone for a week or so now, let them recover, before starting on the next stage of the manifold.

Happy with the way the mainlining is going, got a nice T shape on the first cut. Just waiting for a little more growth before starting the next.

Part 2 of the heatwave is really messing with my temps, but it should be back to normal next week. Mainlining is going very well! One of them has grown faster than the others, and already has 8 (main) stems, while all the others are still only on 4. Gonna keep them in veg for another 4-5 weeks and then flip.

Not too much change this week, mainlining process is still going strong. The lady in the air pot is really coming along nicely tho, very impressed with her! Temps are coming back down now the heatwave has finally ended!

Finished all my cuts for mainlining now, each should end up with 8 main colas. Really pleased with how they've ended up, never expected them to react this well, especially the one in the air-pot! Added a Co2 bag to help the plants handle higher temperatures. Will be buying a Co2 meter to check the levels soon! Also added 4 more fans to help air circulation, total of 5 fans now! Got high hopes for this one 🤞 A

Repotted 3/4 plants, sadly ran out of soil to do the last one, and my local shop is sold out 🙄 Removed the ties for the repotting, the soil is still too loose for the stakes to stay upright, to tie it all back down. I will be checking and adding them again asap. Gonna let them continue in veg for a couple more weeks to get bigger, and then I'll flip.

Noticed a brown/yellow colour starting to appear on my leaves. I don't think it's from the light being too close, so most likely too much/not enough nutrients. Any ideas?

My gut is telling me you went the other way in your feed - that you didn't give them enough... BUT - I AM seeing a bit of a problem with calcium which COULD be caused by overfeeding the grow nutes (excess nitrogen can cause a lockout)... This is tough to say since it's a question of "I might have..." - so what I'd suggest is to add some calmag to your next feed and see if this doesn't stop the problem (and btw, calmag should only be added once a week if you want to continue with it) - the yellow leaves are not going to get greener or improve in any way so don't expect that but further yellowing shouldn't happen a LOT... you might see a LITTLE residual effect. If this DOESN'T solve the problem, then go ahead and flush them out adding in 1/2 strength nutes at the very end of the flush. Your pH is spot on so that's not causing the calcium problems... Good luck!

Unfortunately, the leaves on the strongest plant have started turning yellow. I am unsure of the exact cause. Most likely gonna flip them next week.

Finally established the cause of the discoloration on the leaves. Turns out my watering can is smaller than I thought, so I've been giving too much nutes. Gave enough nutes for 7 liters of water, but in reality I was only using 5 liters of water. Will flush for a week, and then flip, may give another week of veg just to help them recover. Feels like forever ago I started these, can't wait to flip them, but I know not to rush!

Forced to flip a little earlier than I wanted, due to unforseen circumstances 😞 I was hoping to let them grow a little more, as they've just had a nice little growth spurt, but needs must.

Everythings going smooth, no issues. Did some defoliation on the bottom sets of leaves, and have upped the nutrients, I will drop them back down if I see any problems

Starting to get very excited this week! Colas are really taking shape! I'm very surprised by how much change their has been week by week. It seems to be growing much more rapidly than the autos I've grown before. Counting the days till harvest! I think this could be a great yeild!

Not too much to report. I did some light defoliation on the bottom sets of leaves, got rid of some bud sites that wouldn't receive much light. Home stretch, getting excited now!

Colas are starting to fatten up, and the pistils are turning amber. I will begin flushing soon. Not long left now, another 3 or 4 weeks till harvest!

I thought the flowering stage was 8/9 weeks, but it's actually 7/8 for this strain. So I have began flushing and I have done alot of defoliation. Still seeing milky tricomes, no amber's yet. Buds are looking abit smaller than I was hoping, the yield isnt gonna be what I was hoping for especially with vegging it for so long. But it's smelling beautiful, exactly like the strain I have been searching for.

Really getting that blue cheese smell now! And the colas dense too! Not quite as much as I hoped for, but the density should boost that weight up some. 1 more week and then I will harvest

It looks done. Plants don't fade till you remove nutrients from their diet. I would provide just water this week and harvest. Enjoy your bud. Looks good 👍

Almost done, another week and I'll chop them. I plan on, giving cold water as the final feed, and leaving the lights off for the last 24hrs, as I've read these are ways that can boost resin production in the final days. Then I plan on cutting the plant at the roots and then hanging the entire thing upside down. I will do a dry trim, as I want the buds to take every last bit of energy from the remaining leaves. I'm very excited for this grow. I've only had one successful grow previously, and I made the mistake of harvesting it too early. But this time I'm remaining patient! Blue cheese is my favourite strain and I honestly cannot wait to get it in a jar and smell it in all its glory! But good things come to those who wait! 🤞

Harvested a couple of days earlier than I originally planned, but it's ready so it doesn't matter. Quite surprised at how much there is, and how badly those buds are weighing down the stems. I took all the pics with the supports out, and the density of the buds had me thinking the stems could snap lol I will update with a dry weight once it's ready. Can't give a wet weight as I'm hanging the whole plant to dry and doing a dry trim. Final stages now 🙌 ***Edit*** 1 week on. 90% of the buds are dry and jarred up, got worried I might have over dried some, but after putting it in the jars and getting a reading of 70% in humidity I was happy that there's still alot of hidden moisture. I will open the jars regularly throughout the next few days to bring that number down. Not quite getting the blue cheese fragrance yet, but it was very clear on the plant, so I guess the chlorophyll smell is over powering it for now, but I'm really hoping that changes over the curing process. I have more or less finished trimming, and I will update on a dry weight once those last few buds have finished drying. It's not gonna be a particularly impressive yield tho, but I believe that's cus I stressed the plant alot with my mainlining attempt. Next time I try that, I will only do 2 main stems, rather than jumping in at the deep end like this time, and going for 8 on each plant. I also was a little heavy on the defoliation, I think I've missed out on a abit of yield there for sure.

I enjoyed growing this one. Mainlining really expanded my mind on what is possible with plant manipulation. It's obviously a highly stressful technique for the plant tho, and I think that mine suffered from that. But I do have some very dense buds, a couple are like rock's. I had a taster joint once it was dry and tbh I can tell theres a cheese taste there, but there's still too much chlorophyll to get the full experience. I will update on the taste once it's finished curing. Wet weight: Unknown Dry weight: 126g
