(4:4) ...We've had such good results with this vendor ❤️🌱.. only 1 seed has failed to sprout for us out of 8-10 different strain packs, this is pretty incredible to me, I definitely feel like we're getting our $'s worth these days.. To control heat; we shutdown one of the tents completely and unplugged x1 315watt CMH (of 2) in the 4x4..The SP-3000 produces the least amount of heat of any light in the room (and definitely preforms best) so it makes sense to run only these 2 tents until we get closer to fall..next season we hope to have a permanent solution to the heat issue so we can comfortably run 4 tents all year..our last grows have been VERY difficult with the high temps but now that we're in a reasonable range; this grow should be great!! ..I included a few pics of a Big Bud (by ILGM) that my husband has been growing in a 10gal potato bag, its under a 3x3 scrog table, maybe 2 more weeks of weaving before flower ❤️ ⚡Mars Hydro/SP-3000⚡ Specifications ⚙️: Diodes: Samsung LM301B / Osram 660nm (960 total!) The Mars is a beast, I'm still leery on seedling distances after the Gelato, it puts out so much light that it prob wouldn't be too difficult to fry them, no runaway stretch so we'll keep rolling with our current height.. ...We adore this light, it's our first to use the Samsung lmb301/Osram combo, we've been using HID for years but the results have completely changed our position on LED ..it does so well that we just purchased the FC-E6500 by Mars to replace x2 more 315watt CMH fixtures in our 4x4..it's not a great time for us to spend the money but the utility savings combined with yield increase; it will definitely pay for itself... we'll be 100% LED in all 4 grow areas very soon and I couldn't be more excited.. They're all very healthy looking, one has some slight yellowing which should disappear soon with our change but all plants are extremely small for their size.. we've been letting these dry out completely between watering so I'm convinced there's a genetic component to this. We've had a few other strains start extra slow for us in the past and one in particular that started slow and then took off like wildfire around week 5 so I'm not too concerned ..they're each using 3gal square (plastic) pots willed with fresh Promix-HP..they're getting a little bit of Big Bloom with smaller amounts of Grow Big with every other watering now and this has corrected the odd hue we noticed around wk3.. Every one of these plants was a super slow starter..now that they've grown some; one of the 4 has different characteristics..she has much broader fans with thick stems, while the remaining 3 look identical.. there was so much growth in the last week that we decided to top everyone at the 3rd node 3 days ago and new growth (tops) are already approaching an inch in length... As for these Purple Ghost Candy plants; they're tiny.. all of them the same size, we're expecting a decent flowering stretch..idk about the 4x2 scrog table this time (it is coming though lol) because of how long this is taking already..these are only in 3gal pots too, this doesn't give us a ton of play anyway.. We decided it was time to flip these pokey little buggers, this is the 3rd day of 12/12 and they're starting to take off. All plants are praying to the Mars almost around the clock ( nothing beats our SP-3000 in that 4x2).. their color is a little on the light side but we gave them a moderate feeding and they should look right as rain in a few days. I have a suspicion these plants will stretch a lot in flower, they remind me a lot of how our Bruce Banger started out and they finished beautifully.. We raised the SP-3000 a few inches, they top of the tallest plant looked a little stressed so we're playing it safe. We cleaned the underside of all the plants and removed any side shoots growing below the bottom 1/3rd of the plant, we also pulled a few of the largest fans blocking new growth..I predict these plant to be >50% bigger by next week but time will tell.. Its been a super easy week in all tents, really smooth sailing since outside temps have dropped... Not too much else to report but we'll be sure to update if anything changes. We've officially replaced all HID lighting for MarsHydro fixtures and our only real complaint is not doing this sooner 🤘😼 The Ghost Candy's flower stretch was pretty close to what we expected from them. There's still some yellowing from almost killing them 1.5weeks ago but they've almost full recovered from our neglect. We checked trichomes last week nearly all were still clear but the density is amazing.. these are still showing slight signs of nutrient burn with little change from a week of water so we'll give it another and then one last heavy feeding to finish the grow out with water.. We're soooo close and the smell is unbelievable, its a mix of Trix cereal, soda syrup and a little bit of gas..I'm really going to miss cracking this tent open ...they're still showing signs of overfeeding but we've been water only for 1.5 weeks now and will continue with water only until harvest.. We took clones with the intentions of giving a few away to some local Growmies but we decided to veg out a mother instead..this strain looks to be a keeper and I'd hate to loose it like so many other killer strains we've let go.. Trichomes are mostly cloudy but with another 25-30% still clear. We hang dried it all in cardboard boxes and dry trimmed before jarring.. The smell is unbelievable, like an artificial sweetener and gas..burping these jars is an experience lol.. We harvested these a little overripe, approx. 30% amber but the effects are exactly what we were hoping for..this is definitely a daytime strain but it's not too "speedy" (im sensitive to speedy strains and this isn't too much for me), Its great in the morning with coffee and it doesn't seem to impair my judgment while working or lead to feeling unmotivated..its a very social strain if there ever was one..
